Colonel Bukar Suka Dimka was a Nigerian Army officer who was involved in a failed coup attempt against the military government of General Murtala Ramat Mohammed in 1976. The coup attempt, which became known as the "Dimka coup," was aimed at overthrowing the military government and installing a civilian government.
