This video helped me a lot! I'm testing a 300w pulse machine right now with a jpt generator, in witch most parameters are similar (max 4000 kHz) but with higher max impuls width (1000ns), still its a good reference point. I've also sent a request for the data sheet. Thank you!

1000w CW might be a bit low power, we normally recommond 2000w or even 3000w CW laser cleaner

@@Bjorn1976 our mirror frequency can be adjust on the first page of the operation page, if your machine not from DMK, please check with your machine supplier for the location of the paramater

I am writing to inform you that I have two lasers: a 500W JPT laser and a 100W P-laser. Interestingly, I have observed that the 100W laser seems to perform better than the 500W laser. I am unsure why this is the case, but I hope that you can investigate the matter and provide me with an explanation. Could there be a fault with the 500W laser? Or is there something else that could explain why it is not performing as effectively as the 100W laser? I appreciate your assistance and look forward to hearing from you.@@jallyqu

@@Bjorn1976 hi, Bjorn, your question sounds very interesting to me, can you provide more details? specifications of the two lasers, or the label of the two lasers? in which occasion that you feel the 100w is better performance than the 500w, for example in which cleaning senario, rust or paint or exidation? and speed difference or temperature difference and so on? it will be great if you can provide more details about the difference, so we can study further.

Last December, our company purchased a DML 500 laser cleaning system based on the JPT 500W pulsed laser from DMK. We use the laser cleaning unit to clean the tooling made of stainless steel AISI 304, titanium Ti Gr.2 and Al from condensate during vacuum deposition of PVD coatings, thickness 0.3mm - 1.2mm. Coating material Ti, Ni, TiO, Zr, ZrO, Cr, TiN, C, TiNb, Pt, Au, Ag and others. Thickness of coatings up to 20-50 microns. It is possible to accumulate a layer of coatings up to 200 microns. Your video helped me a lot when setting the cleaning modes. Unfortunately the selection of parameters takes a lot of time. Please send us your recommendations for selection of cleaning modes (datasheet).

i guess you have 1500w CW laser, which doesn't have parameters to adjust besides the laser power or line width, datasheet only works for pulse laser cleaners

what is the difference between the Chinese laser pulse laser which is affordable but only have a 2-3yr warranty and a Narran or a 4jet pulse laser which is over a $150,000 for a 500W pulse laser but the warranty is 5-6yrs. It would be great to see a video showing your company Chinese 500W pulse laser against one of the ones I mentioned. I am pretty sure a lot of people want to know what the major differences is or maybe it is no difference, and the people are just getting ripped off.

there are some differences, they use IPG lasers with better performance in terms of beam quality, power stability or long-time stability; but we come to the cost effectiveness, i think chinese lasers will win
