On top of that which other managers in world football can handle themselves through such a tumultuous time at their club as elegantly as Ange. He walked in and it was immediate chaos but he's just so cool and experienced, level headed. He was and is the perfect crisis manager. He did it at Celtics, Spurs, Brisbane Roar, Yokohama F Mariners. They were all in crisis when he joined and he won at all of them.
@kingdom749 ай бұрын
He didn't win with the Whittlesea zebras (or whatever they were called) who he coached during his 3 year banishment after the interview. He won every season he was with a club for he full season. South Melbourne, Brisbane & Celtic (all back to back) Melbourne Victory & Yokohama Marinos he was only there one full season, and won. Spurs need to get Ange wingers and a striker and he will win the EPL. Celtic have forgotten how to win since he left.
@TeoGrehan9 ай бұрын
@@kingdom74 nah he won at my club, Brisbane last 2 of his 3 years, didn't win at Melbourne Victory, managed for 1 year, took the Aussie job for about 6 years. Ange adds value wherever he goes and he does play the type of football fans really respond to. He's had 25 years experience which never gets mentioned plus a remarkable number of big trophies. He is in his niche of being underestimated... understated. Utd and Gunners fans personify what's wrong with their clubs when they immediately say he hasn't done anything.. that's why the owners of your clubs have the thankless task of trying to appease the high expectations. Picking names is frought with problems.

@Luciano29099 ай бұрын
I disagree with this. I’m not sure what you mean by crumble. I think we’ll be inconsistent this season, but that is due to the manager being in place since July plus a lot of new faces in the starting lineup. It will take time to gel, but I think Ange isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Pep, Klopp, Arteta all struggled in the beginning, that’s what happens when you have a play style you are trying to imbed. Until the current players learn it and until players with the right profiles are added, there will be dodgy performances.
@ramwinter26229 ай бұрын
@@Luciano2909 . I’d compare Ange more to Moyes at United, Potter at Chelsea and even Nuno at Spurs. Managers who were popular amongst supporters and did tremendous jobs at their previous clubs before being poached by clubs they didn’t succeed at. Look where they are now, although Moyes has managed to rebuild his by winning a Europa Conference League title with West Ham recently.
