Childhood friends Chintu and Bablu campaign on opposite sides of politics during India’s election campaign in the industrial town of Jamshedpur in Jharkhand state.
Despite being born a Sikh, Chintu assumes a prominent role in leading local youth to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Hindu nationalistic ideologies. He is a BJP campaign worker and president of a local Hindu rights advocacy group, the Sanatan Utsav Samiti.
On the other hand, Bablu opposes right-wing elements associated with Hindu nationalism and advocates for a more tolerant India. As electoral fervour sweeps through the nation, their friendship unravels against a backdrop of divisive rallies and strained family gatherings. Will their friendship survive the political divide in the world’s largest democracy? India’s Fractured Bonds is a documentary film by Gautam Singh.

Hate is never irreversible. Hate requires lot of mental energy and eventually, if you go by psychology to hold onto hate is an anxious state of mind and brain can never keep hating something forever. a hater might hold onto hate based on his or her own prejudice or historical ideology but it fades and intensity of hate keeps falling no matter how hard one try to continue it. Problem is the birth of new haters which may project presence of haters in a continuum. Thatswhy with time hate will persist but to all very low extent.

I am from Bihar and presently I am in Jamshedpur. The hatred and anxiety in here society which i am experiencing, never experienced such in Bihar or even in UP(Noida). Besides, other side isn't fighting for that three countries. They are fighting what they represent as an individual, their beliefs and what they understand by humanity. They don't care whether you are right or wrong. They want to be right even at the cost of themselves. While that person(saffron side) is fighting for himself, for his people and who he consider close. They watch you and act accordingly. They don't want to sacrifice. It's sad to see them suffer. Because both side are hurt in the process. The saffron person believes that he was fighting for his friend who he lost. None of them care about your country. Thus, I would simply ask a simple question why should I sacrifice for you. I know that saffron side is narrow minded and can't see big picture. But he is what I call being human. To be honest, I never cared about Hinduism and really never followed. My friends literally call me atheist despite not being one. Just so are going associate about with religion. That's what my belief looks like.

But still I didn't bias towards Hinduism or towards Congress party watching Doordarshan.
