As an Indian residing in the United States, I maintain an investment portfolio in both the American and Indian stock markets, as I have high expectations for the growth potential of both economies over the next two to three decades. Given my status as a Non-Resident Indian, I am able to directly purchase equities through brokerages within the Indian stock market, although I am unsure of the process for foreign nationals to do so. Despite the fact that the Indian rupee has experienced an average annual depreciation of 3.34% against the US dollar over the past 28 years, I have found that the compounding returns of the Indian stock market have more than compensated for this trend. Accordingly, I remain highly optimistic about the Indian market and continue to make regular investments in this sector.

India has courage to talk back to US and the West, bravo. When being asked about buying oil from Russia, India strongly replied by stating the fact that India's interest is the first priority, no one has the right to tell India what to do. I think they are way tougher than the Chinese and that's the quality of a real superpower. I am Chinese (or Hongkonger as some people described us), but I can't deny the fact that India will be world number one sooner than later.

Here are my 2c: I’m an Indian living in the US. I’m invested in both the US and Indian stock markets as I’m betting on both these economies to do well in the next 20-30 years. Since I’m in an NRI (Non-Resident Indian), I get to directly purchase equities through brokerages in the Indian stock market. I’m not sure about the process for foreign nationals to invest directly in India. That being said, against the US dollar, the Indian rupee has depreciated by an average of 3.34% per year in the last 28 years. But tbh the year-over-year compounding returns in the Indian stock market has overshadowed the year-over-year depreciation of the currency. Hence I’m extremely bullish and have been continuously investing in India. Cheers.

I recently opened my Bank account just by video kyc at home. That's it. For a credit card, one needs to do video kyc from Home and done , the card will then be deliver to your home. Due to UPI, my cards are lying in the dust . Just scan at any Store, station, airport, any person and payment done. No charges, no MDR, nothing. Most of the Asian countries are equipped with modern digital technology like India, China, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, korea but Western countries like Britain, Europe , USA still have old credit card swipe along with MDR charges which is relatively High. Visa and master card are still against these modern digital technologies as they know these things could steal their business.

I really can't say enough nice things about the country or its people. Both are beautiful, culturally rich and have a fantastic work ethic (to say nothing of their love of academia and brilliant problem solving skills.) IMO, this boom is well-deserved and long overdue. Ik they'll absolutely make the most of it and I'm thrilled for the country/its people. I'm hoping I get a chance to take my wife there one day soon; truly, a marvelous place and peoples.

Great content. Although missed a bullet. UPI is backbone of booming economy. It made all businesses and industries at ease. It is alternate of cash and credit/debit cards. Fun fact: India came up with idea of UPI system first in world at national platform. UPI has spiked digital transactions higher per day. This idea threatens more advanced countries coz they don’t want to give up transactions based on cards. The demo can be seen in G20 meetings where u don’t have to pay cash or carry a card and still able to purchase items with phone.

Indians believe in the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam( World is one family ). Which in terms of growth means you grow but also help others around you grow and sustain including plants and animals . That is an ancient Vedic Indian teaching which the so called “Modern World” should learn. When you grow along with others it’s very difficult to bring you down because others are going to support you including Mother Nature herself and flora and fauna. That is why India out of the principle is investing heavily in Hydrogen Fuels and solar energy and moving away as much as possible for Fossil fuels as it’s not good for Mother Nature . Also you will see during covid though India had to give vaccines to its 1.2 billion people but still it gave vaccines to all other poorer nations while the west shunned away which is again because it considers the world as one family . Also during earth quake India helped both Turkey and Syria equally whereas west only helped Turkey much much more . The West fortunately doesnt understand this ancient old Wisdom and think that they have to just think about how they can grow and others they don’t care and that’s exactly the problem why west growth is slowing down and declining. The mantra should be grow slow but grow strong, grow ethically. Chinas problem is the “Ethics”. That growth also won’t be be sustainable one day you will fall just like west . So India is one country which believes in grow ethically and also help others as much as possible . World should be rest assured that if India becomes a Viswa Guru( The teacher of the world )- no it doesn’t want to become a super power or super villain - it can transform the world with good teachings and concept of Karma and world would be a beautiful place this we can be assured

I appreciate your approach to teaching.. To my understanding this just proves how much we need an edge as investors because playing the market like everyone else just isn’t good enough, we just need to hold onto our hopes and wait to see how things turn out because market movements are almost always unpredictable. In my portfolio, I'm noticing more red than green and my retirement is edging closer by the day.
