I met a Kenyan Indian doctor in Illinois, when i was working as a travel nurse, we started talking in Swahili about investment opportunities in Kenya, people at the hospital were surprised and asked us which language we were speaking 😂, they were like he’s Indian not Kenyan. I was born in Nairobi in 1960 and my father moved to Kenya in 1927. In 1930s he had a shop in machacos, in 1940s in Athi river, in 1950s a bar and restaurant called Bombay Hotel, in 1960s he opened a fruit and veg shop in River road Nairobi, in 1974 we sadly moved to UK, we miss Kenya but we still speak Swahili. We originated from Punjab India and are Kala Singa tribe of Kenya 😂🙏🪯👍🏼🚩🇬🇧⚔️ Jambo Rafiki 🤝

Many Indians everywhere do not treat black people with respect nor see them as their equals. Many Kenyan Indians are no different and segregate black Kenyans in Kenya, the host country that welcomed them. They won't marry Kenyans and consider it a taboo yet they live in Kenya enjoying its benefits! Kudos to those Kenyan Indians who try to integrate with black Kenyan people by being more inclusive than exclusive, but unfortunately, they are very few. It is a matter of time before all this comes to a boiling point unless Kenyan Indians change their ways.

Indians bring prosperity to every country they go to. Uganda found this out once Idi Amin expelled the Indians and their economy collapsed. India used to be the richest country in the world before the british looted India. Now India is one of the fastest growing countries in the world and will soon be a top 3 country by 2025 and top 2 by 2050.

For someone who is recognized as a tribe and has lived there his whole life, he can't say anything except "Asante sana" I could have picked that up in Lion KIng She on the other hand knows what seems like a few Hindi words by watching Bollywood. He has LIVED in KENYA around Kenyan's THIS long and can only manage "Asante Sana" That tells you how "assimilated" he is. Indians NEVER assimilate. Kenyans will live to regret making these people a "tribe"

It was the British who bought British Indians to Africa, and gave them greater privilege then local Africans, with better opportunities then locals, they did much better than locals. That's the plain truth.

There's a difference. Africans in Europe are immigrants, just like the Indians in the UK. Africans in the Caribbean are victims of human trafficking; and there are Indians immigrants in the Carribean. Kenya is different - Indians in Kenya are immigrants, or descendants of immigrants. Note the difference.

I thought they were 44th tribe. Anyway what matters is that they have been incorporated or embraced as a tribe though a bit too late. Total integration will be a myth but working towards embracing one another's cultures will be possible pole pole..

What I am referring to is Kenya giving you a legitimate status as a tribe. That is HUGE mistake they will live to regret. Most Kenyans are treated very nice in India man. There were 7-8 Kenyans in my college. I always wondered what brought them to India. Most people treated them nice with the exception of a handful idiots who are rude not only to Kenyans but to everyone. You can't base any opinions based on a few idiots brother. One fine day I approached one of the Kenyans and talked for an hour or so. We exchanged a lot of cultural and economic information which was constructive. After that day, I was known among all of those 7-8 guys and girls. We often exchanged a dialogue while on the campus. It was all good.

India isnt a monolith and neither is Africa my guy. Some regions are racist others are not. You can look it up in Tamil Nadu Africans are treated with respect, there’s been no recorded harassment or attacks, same with Kerala. The attacks mostly happen in the extremely backwards part of the north in cities like Delhi and Gurgaon.

Kenyans will wait until the Indians have contributed significantly to Kenya and then expel them due to jealousy. Don’t fall for this trick again. Best to sign treaties and ensure there is adequate Indian leadership in parliament.
