A levels are the exams you sit in the UK in sixth form (Year 12/13) when you're 17/18 years old.

A levels means Advanced Levels. UK school exams used to be called O levels, or Ordinary Levels, hence the next step up at college is Advanced Levels. However O levels are now called GCSE’s - General Certificates of Secondary Education

I don't know what A-level means nor all the other descriptors mentioned below. When I was in 1st year calculus in at Waterloo in Canada this would have been a typical partial fraction integral in my 1b term. I would have been 19 yrs old.

A levels are exams you take in the UK at 18

A Level is a level of course typically taken by students 16-18 in the UK, so high school seniors in the US (not sure how different Canada is)

Brother it does not look like that at all. 2024 exam had an integration of (pi-x)*tan^-1(pi-x) for a limit of 0 to pi. The question you showed was more similar that of a levels math paper instead of further math.

@@hammer3721 That it apparently was. But it was of edexcel and not cie. In cie this is absolutely in a levels math paper and not further maths.

@@D4wGr1 Yes it does. It was in the 2024 exam. Now you can sit here and believe whatever you want but that's the truth.

@@inheritance1097 As far as I am aware, Edexcel is perhaps the most popular exam board when it comes to A-Level Maths and Further Maths. So, just because it doesn't look right for the exams you are sitting, that doesn't mean they are not appropriate for other exam boards.
