It is indeed. Having done some light editing tasks for a friend who does youtube as a hobby, I can confirm that, not only is there a lot of work done bts, but also you realise that even the simplest part can easily become one thing to say it and a completely different one to do it. Just the fact you have to work on something that lasts like an hour or even longer sometimes (raw recording) and watch again and again, rewind, try to find "balance" on that part etc is extremely time-consuming. Let alone all the rest of the work you need to do here and there. This is what people do not perceive as viewers and then wonder why such jobs cost so much.

It’s great to finally put a face to a name. My question would be, how many stomach growls or gurgles from Gibi have you had to edit out of the videos if there is a number 😂. In all seriousness, you do an amazing job when it comes to editing the videos. I think its cool that you have been editing Gibi’s videos for so many years. Keep up the great work Shawn aka Vest.

On average, there's 50ish audio edits per video. I think the most was around 180....ish? Although that included all sounds, not just stomach ones lol

Not gonna lie I never really thought about it when watching bloopers and stuff but whenever Gibi mentioned she had an editor I thought it was just simply putting footage together and taking out none asmr stuff but hearing how involved Vest actually is brings a whole new appreciation to everything

This is incredible. You're such a big part of the process, Vest, yet rarely seen. Thank you for showing some behind the scenes (down to all that work just to get rid of a gulp sound) not to mention sharing something you're so passionate about. We split it into 3 projects, across 3 editors. Even still, it was a giant task and I had to compile it in the end. We learned a lot from it, to say the least.

Very generous of you to share this information and it should be helpful to many. I'm a photographer (not making anything remotely resembling this, I mostly shoot sports), but this is excellent. You're amazing for doing this. Very selfless. This is what community is all about.
