El toro baby has been to more parks than me 😂

That dreaded pothole at the bottom of the turnaround that would destroy your back on a front wheeled seat last year is thankfully gone. You can actually see the brand new gorgeous dark brown track they threw down there when you walk by. Now that that pothole is gone, the ride is completely bearable no matter where you sit IMO.

El Toro looks fantastic and was hauling. Good to see. It is really nice to see all of the love the park is getting although I figured it would be done by now. None the less I’m exited to go to the park as a visitor for the first time 50 years ago.Have my season pass and fast pass and hope to make lots of memories and see the park nice and shiny like it was 50 years ago!!

Eltoro is so much more bearable this year. And the crew is insane this year, they move at lightning speed. Even though they have been on 1 train ops for a while they’ve been pushing trains very very quickly. Very happy to see how much the park cares for that ride.

I used to go to great adventure all the time. Then i got old and fragile and i cant wait in long lines anymore. Ticket prices are wild for a single visit too. But i might go this year and ride el toro again. I miss rolling thunder, el toro will have to keep its spot as the last wooden coaster in GA 😢

lol i was here on the same day, lines were hell for green lantern, superman, and el toro, took my chances on kingda ka 3 times lol.

I heard the reason the construction was going slow was because Vekoma’s contractor was busy with Good Gravy and Snoopy’s SBR. Not sure how accurate that is but I have a feeling we will be good for a Memorial Day weekend opener. See you there Coaster Idiots 🫡

I'm glad you're liking El Toro now. As rough as it was during the only time I rode during May 30th though June 2nd 2022 I still liked El Toro better than any other ride in the park, just barely ahead of Nitro, which is my least favourite B&M hyper I've ridden but still better than Orion and Leviathan due to its duration and graceful airtime. But I still like Cyclone at Coney Island and Ghostrider as much if not better than El Toro, as well as Coaster at Playland Vancouver (the latter at least through Halloween 2020 before it closed in 2012, only to only to be re-opened in 2022 with automatically extremely retracting seatbelts). I couldn't wait until my son was old enough to ride the 'big boy' coasters, although I strongly suggest you don't do as I did and take him on Kingda Ka first. When we hit the top of the high hat he turned to me and said, "I'll never forgive you for this"!! He did and rode it 4 more times. We wanted to try to look bored when the camera flashed to make a funny picture, but he couldn't do it; too exciting.

I went there last weekend, had a fantastic time. None of the coasters I wanted to ride were closed. I did totally find the entrance to the parking lot confusing as hell. Lol

Shoutout from Ann Arbor, MI. Cedar point is in my backyard. Figuratively speaking. My credit count is barely past 100 but I got El Toro, Nitro, Medusa, and Green Lantern on the list.

I am GAGGED that they finally cleared that Dream Street path! I always hated having to walk around the building, it's about time this happened!

I hope El Toro never gets an LSM replacement. Hydraulic launch is only comparable to air, which even then is a different experience. Like it or not TT2 is a neutered experience even if its still an awesome and badass ride. Its most definitely neutered. It's like if they switched Mr. Freeze to a weight drop launch... older and slower.

New path reminds me of our Skyrush path at Hersheypark.

I can’t believe that on opening day I rode el toro in the front row with my friend for my birthday. Good thing I brought my other friend that has never been there. He rode el toro and Jersey devil front seat too. That day was fun

Was my first time at great adventure and I rode El Toro back row about a dozen times throughout the day and was on the last train and got like 3 rides back row without leaving my seat. My 2nd favorite woodie behind the voyage now for sure.

Flash is going to stand out when it's done. Almost all of the other rollercoasters are on the parimeter with limited viewpoints. If I remember correctly, wasn't Shockwave near that location?

I miss the days when there was no shortcut between ka and toro and I could lap ka first thing in the the morning, then run to get toro laps while the others didn't know how to get there 😅

I'd love to ride Flash when it opens but unfortunately with it's abysmal capacity I'm not waiting in line for 4+ hours to ride that thing. Any other part I'd say, "what were they thinking putting a low capacity coaster in a busy park like this!", but it's Six Flags so we know exactly what they were thinking... They got a cheap deal on it!

idk if the “all through TSA” comment was a joke about security being thorough or not lol. but the only time I’ve ever visited SFGA back in 2022, a bunch of employees at the entrance watched me completely bypass security while carrying a large backpack and no one said a word to me. I wasn’t paying attention and literally just walked around it lol. it was actually quite concerning how easy it was to go untouched with a big bag full of stuff, and how many employees saw me do it without batting an eye

Aha! Was old school, 'not being able to SEE just how steep the 1st drop was/is! I got almost to the top and said to myself, 'Oh Shit,' so by nature being a life long Rollercoaster rider, Bring 66 years old back in with fucken Problems with Bones, 'I knew to pop me a few Back-N-Body Pain Pills plus had my back brace tight shit,' when the coaster dropped I right with it as I said to myself, 'SHIT,' it was great! 3 times in the day light 1-time at night, of course after a few beers plus riding in the last car Ouch but great! The same for King-Da free fall drop and then King-Da at night! It was almost close time so I could not have made it over to Nitro! I'd bet day 10-years back I could have! Amusement Parks are one of the very few places I can go to and feel safe plus! The extreme pass don't hurt nothing either like back in the good old days standing in lines for hours, 'but,' ignore the young folks sucking up each other's face yuck! I had enough nerve to stand in front of my man while reaching back, 'with my hands down the front of his paints holding his B***s,' I'd always be special in my own right he telling me, 'never had he been shocked/amazed like that the way I did it! It's an Amusement park ✅️ right! My job was to extra Amuse! LIFE!
