When I moved, I always got the diamond boxes from my comic book store to put all my hardcovers in. They fit side by side snugly and usually 4-5 deep

If the buildings are modular I recommend packing them one floor at the time. Make sure you have plenty of pics of the builds before you pack them down as one piece or other is guaranteed to fall off and it is nice to know where to put it back without going through the entire building instruction (I did not do this when moving my Lego City a few years back and it was a pain finding out where peices belonged when rebuilding.

WRT packing I think the main issue isn't size, it's /fragility/. As long as everything is securely packed I think it should be OK. What you don't want is fragile models, of any size, breaking during the move.

Good video. Moving always sucks. Glad its going good so far. Not being/feeling rushed is good. I felt rushed every time I’ve moved. Hope you’re able to find a place soon so that you have a plan & get the move done. 💜⚔️
