I personally prefer Football over Cricket. But when it comes to Nepal, it's not a competition. Nepal Cricket is performing much much much better than Nepal football. In football there are like 10 teams we can win over. In cricket there are less than 10 teams we cannot win. And don't be foolish, Nepal does not have more football fans than cricket fans. It's the exact same crowd that support Nepal football or Nepal cricket.

TBH the thing you said is true for the football which is played for entertainment. But professional level football is very hard. I myself play both sports and watch both sports. Cricket is hard but one can achieve success in cricket by constant training and determination. It is much more harder to achieve success in professional football . It is not only low mind passes. Professional football is teamwork game and very high decision making skills, experience, tactics and physicality is required to be good in professional level football.

Most invest sport in Nepal is football .In Nepal how manyCricket and how football Ground are there . 2011 cricket player salary was only 5000 .ANFA bring international recognize coach for football team but Nepal football didn't play well .Football player fixed match and many are gone foreign country . But Nepal-cricket player played even with 5000 salary even without proper ground even without proper bat didn't go foreigner countries even they have hard time and now all there hard work is showing and earn salary up to 60000
