just a question, why are you selling the sketchpack using a service in the US? It means that for those of us in Australia it costs a lot more. I would love to get the sketchpack, but I can't justify spending $190 AUD.

@@izzymartin6592 I think because that's the company he's been working with, and most viewers by sheer numbers are in the US and Canada. And the company is in US? If there was an Australian company (is there?), Then the shipping cost for more viewers would be even higher.

It looks like he has just run of the mill sands from Michael's that are used for cheap projects and not actual sand art. I'm honestly impressed with how clear and defined you got it at first with the Genie's face. I'm also always impressed when you go ahead and post these sorts of videos anyway. It's clear you tried, it's clear you have talent as an artist, and you still didn't end up with something you liked or found good. But you posted the video anyway, and I think that speaks volumes to your values. So thanks for the video, and the laughs (that ending's editing was perfect), and keep exploring and having fun.

Sand art videos are cleverly edited; the purple drawing on the glass is the image, but the brushes/tools inside are painting thin PVA glue layers, which allow the colored sands poured via the funnels into the exact spot desired (and to stay there) on the interior surfaces. This is what Jazza has missed. Sand art has always been 1 part trick.

if you overfill the bottle with sand (usually just a base or "sky" colour, or whatever you have if it's gonna be covered by the cap) and then force the lid on very firmly the sand should stay packed in place. resin also can heat up a great deal, I'm not sure how safe it'd be in glass, but I have no first hand knowledge of it, so i'm hardly an authority.

Jazza, If you want to make a good piece of sand art, you need to use a container that is narrow and wide with an open top. That will allow you to more easily place the sand where you want and move it into place. You also really should focus on making a single sided picture. Instead of watching short tictok videos on it, you should watch tutorials so you can actually learn how they do it and the reasons they do it that way.

I have zero experience with sand ( I explore, some times I find broken glasses an just insert them int to a tree. . But clay, animation, painting too ,and just a late night sketch before OR after bed. I love that you mentioned that you're learning,,, Learn, and learn and learn. It's lovely and and I LOVE your exploration. I am most invested in people saving their dreams, in l written words or drawings or painting or an creations. Your weird and crazy ideas, I love (and I say that lovingly) enthusiasm helps me, and probably a lot of others.
