With all that filming, I don't understand why we don't get more survivor. Even if it's a late night episode with the cast just sitting around, or enjoying the island. I want more 😭

Hi, Richard, I appreciate your clear, focused, intelligent contributions to the KZfaq community. I found out you were filming from a commentor on the Russell Hantz channel. Lol. He is an interesting character in his own right, and I appreciate his contributions too. But I was never really a fan of his. When I saw the first season, you seemed a bit cocky and arrogant too. But at least your observations about people made sense because we could actually see how they were “performing” or “under-performing”, or “not performing;” and your observations made total sense. It appeared you were merely trying to get people to actually just PLAY the game more adroitly. Russell, on the other hand, had a basic underlying contempt for people; and the names-calling: “stupid,” “idiot,” “fools” were used quite often and underscored his apparently basic contempt for anyone who wasn’t playing the game the way he was playing it. So there was a major difference between your and his gameplay. I appreciate the fact that your videos are short, to-the-point and rambling and distraction-free. They are always instructive, interesting and educational. Thank you for letting us get to know you beyond the boundaries of the game and for clearing up the whole “tax evasion” affair. I had always wondered how someone as intelligent as you could not have paid his taxes. We all know that the long arm of the IRS likes to reach for their cut of anybody’s earnings. so many people were perplexed about your seemingly not knowing. Your contributions really help round out and amplify understanding of the game among us “Survivor” fans. 👏🙏😘

Hi richard, I’m a massive survivor fan from Australia and love the behind the scenes stuff and they make the show. I have a question for you. Before going on the show, do they warn you or prepare you for the amount of behind the scenes or film crew that are going on around you? Does it take some time for the ‘average jo’ off the street to get comfortable with being filmed or followed by camera crew 24hrs a day?

Can you please talk a little about the contestants you played with in Borneo? Curious to see your opinions on Kelly, Colleen, Jenna, etc... many years later. Who did you get along with the most? We’re they portrayed correctly on television?

In 2020/2022 they should of edited complications of past seasons, since we went a whole year without survivor.

All that makes sense. What I don't understand is for example in the premiere last week of season 40... After they climbed the "Box Steps" in the challenge, they had a shot underwater of a contestant (can't remember who) diving in, but a second later they had an aerial view of the challenge with no camera crew or anything in sight. I'm still thinking about how the hell they did that lol

Except there is never any filming shown when the contestants are going to and from challenges. I've often wondered if that was a period of time where you are not allowed to speak to each other, strategize, etc.

So all you said was you were filmed 24hs and not HOW it was filmed and the title suggested. Awesome job.

As mentioned by other commenters It would be so Bitchin if they gave us more tribal Council time, more of the discussions that are going on some bloopers, fails, crashes, etc etc. We’re only getting a very small glimpse that is all specifically edited. You’re the only survivor that represented your lifestyle in a positive way that everyone can understand with no judgment or animosity. Congratulations on your win.
