Love your talk. Latest projections seem to be that the natural population of the UK will peak in 2025, reflecting fertility rate has been under replacement for decades now. The last estimate I was for peak population was 2060 but that pre-pandemic (which substantially changed birthrates and, to a lesser extent, deaths.) Actually what's more interesting is that the UKs working age population just peaked in Q2, 2020 so for every worker there are now more consumers.

Thanks. Another interesting issue eithin the UK is that aging is happening very unevenly with London (and a few university cities) attracting young worker while the rest of the country rapidly ages. In addition the countries the UK has historically gain immigrants from also have declining birthrates.
