I know 8bitryan will make some videos about it, because he had a geometry dash series, but he stopped since 2.2 didn’t come out. I also know he said in a video that he would post gd again when 2.2 comes out, so he will definitely give the game a boost

GD is very unique in this: it doesn't need frequent updates since the community is what runs it basically, and will evolve anyways

the level editor was definitely a genius move by RobTop. Geometry Dash perhaps has possibly hundreds to thousands of years of playable content just because the community basically makes all the content, and when 2.2 drops it's just going to make creators even more creative. I don't see Geometry Dash dying for an extremely long time even if 2.2 is the final update (which it probably won't be; but perhaps it will be the last extremely-large-to-the-point-it's-basically-a-new-game-and-takes-6-years-to-finish update)

I was so surprised that one of my most favourite KZfaqrs of all time made a video about one of my most favourite games of all time. I love Geometry Dash, and literally cried during the GD10 video. So it was nice to see that Whirow made a video of this. I love you GD community, gg on 10 years

You wold be surprised at how a community can keep a game alive stronger than the creator can especially with a level editor as powerful as the GD one, and with mods like Betteredit
