What is ROBLOX? ROBLOX is an online virtual playground and workshop, where people of all ages can safely interact, create, have fun, and learn. It’s unique in that practically everything on ROBLOX is designed and constructed by members of the community. ROBLOX is designed for 8 to 18 year olds, but it is open to people of all ages. Each player starts by choosing an avatar and giving it an identity. They can then explore ROBLOX - interacting with others by chatting, playing games, or collaborating on creative projects. Each player is also given their own piece of undeveloped real estate along with a virtual toolbox with which to design and build anything - be it a navigable skyscraper, a working helicopter, a giant pinball machine, a multiplayer “Capture the Flag” game or some other, yettobedreamed-up creation. There is no cost for this first plot of virtual land. By participating and by building cool stuff, ROBLOX members can earn specialty badges as well as ROBLOX dollars (“ROBUX”). In turn, they can shop the online catalog to purchase avatar clothing and accessories as well as premium building materials, interactive components, and working mechanisms.

Explanation: It's in fact in meshes and it reflects when lights hits the specific Perpendicular angle and they're called Bake light or Bake lighting in Unity. It's the same meshes that roblox used on the Aloha braid hair from the event Aloha, you could clarify the meshes between them.

Wow, these UGC Items are really cool, yes! I think I know how this trick works. With the DVD it's simple, through the hole in the DVD Light shines through the physics of Roblox. With the others, As with the color-changing hat, light on one side, dark on the other. Then if you move the camera, you will see the light side or the dark side! But, thank you for this video, like all your Videos, very interesting. I comment very often, and also get a lot of likes for it. I appreciate that.

3:06 this is not something unique from that accessory it's just an effect called "SunRaysEffect" this will happen in every game that has that lighting effect (this effect won't apply for players that have low graphics)

Fun Fact: there is also another light-related type of accessory. Its basically just a neon glow, but instead of just being a plain color unaffected by shadows, its that AND it glows

Hey, SharkBlox, anything is possible with Lua (the coding language for games like Minecraft, Roblox Etc.) So of course Roblox and other's could make "lLight Reactive avatar's" And it's harder to make a game that has a working Television. So yea, people on Roblox could make these Light Reactive avatar's easily. And the first one was created in 2010, (according to the official Roblox wiki) so these aren't new, but it is always good to inform other's about thing's that are never heard of that already exist. - from Poopoo322
