Just as a side note, one of the biggest influencers on roman architecture was an Arab Nabataean architect in Syria by the name of Apollodorous of Damascus
@naisa97052 жыл бұрын
Can you tell me more about it?
@newonevery7402 жыл бұрын
@@naisa9705 just Google Apollodorous of Damascus, he took over major projects and added a lot to roman architecture including wide use of domes which were not common in roman structures. What a lot of people don't realize us that many Arabs in greater Syria took roman and Greek names next to their Arab names because now they were roman citizens. I think he was lived around the third century AD and he was a pagan if memory serves me right

Muslims have the character to appreciate Einstein, and Newton (I do) but non Muslims don’t have the ethical courage to accept Muslims’ contribution in modern science. I hope in the future people will come forward to give Muslims the credit they deserve. Well, there is a point worth noticing which is that these buildings are the living proof of Muslims’ knowledge which can’t be demolished. BTW Rowan Williams’ endorsement looks fishy.
@lyt482 жыл бұрын
What nonsense!! Do mslms have the ethical courage to recognize non-mslms’ contributions?? No!! They deny it away, the deny others’ achievements, they deny their own cr!mes, the praise & celebrate their own cr!mes, & blame others for mslms’ cr!mes!! Let them take blame when they commit cr!mes instead of demanding credit only!! Let them give non mslms credit for their achievements instead of lying to twist everything to look favourably to themselves.
