I've always been confused how ISO works with RAW video recording formats. I've owned my Black magic pocket cinema camera 6k pro for nearly a year and only now decided to run tests and see exactly what's happening.
ISO has traditionally been thought of as being part of the exposure triangle and having an impact on the overall exposure of your image, but that isn't true with RAW recording. You can get caught in a bind if you've just purchased a Black Magic camera or RED Komodo or similar RED cameras and you're starting your journey with RAW video.
In this video I explore how ISO works in RAW video and how it differs from traditional, non-raw formats.
