probably just desync, in your computer you were alive when you shot but on the server you were already dead

the amount of clueless ppl about how online game hit reg work is staggering to be honest. What you see is not important, whats matter is what the server see. Your computer (client) can only send their packet containing info like shooting, positions to the server and wait for the server feedback to updates the game state and continue the loop again. What you see on your screen is always a few ms behind the actual game state on the server, the reason why you feel the game repsond to your input instantly is due to Client Prediction, basicly your computer try to predict the outcome of your input while waiting for the actual update from the server, this explain why sometime you can see yourself moving behind cover but got teleported back to the open whilst getting killed simply because on the server state, you are already dead. With the presence of different ping, latency, interp, lag compensation system, there will be complication and oddities sometimes.

Here are the facts: 1. The cheat dev used to be a CIS coach, hence why he was friends with many pros from t1 to semi-pro academy teams. 2. The spreadsheet that was compiled has already been updated to remove players that had this person added for 300+ days because this is when the person was active as a coach; all the biggest t1 namers are already removed, and yes, including donk. 3. This should go without saying, but obviously a person who's added someone like a cheat dev doesnt necessarily mean that they're cheating; even for the academy players who has this person added, dont go around slandering their name for this miniscule reason. It's a list compiled by some kid who saw that the dev was friends with some people, it's NOT a list of cheaters confirmed after months of investigation by a TO like ESL. Quick reminder to use your heads and to stop coping just because a pro can hit shots that you cant. Cheers!
