Huge thanks to Alaxe for creating several custom models for this (the cartoon Pyro mask, the pyroland babies, the panic attack trigger, animatable angel/devil pyros, and stretchy spy mask just to name a few). Thanks to Ardate for animating the SFM scene where I spawn camp with the phlog. Thanks to 9joao6 for the Minecraft torch particle. I wonder how lazypurple felt after seeing uncle dane's pyro video. I mean, a couple points made there go against what's essentially said here. Pybro: For lazy, he believes its an important job, even if its boring. Dane believes that pyros should be on the front line, not babysitting. Airblast: Lazy loves the airblast, seemingly moreso than the fire part of pyro. Dane dislikes the airblast, who feels it's more luck based.

Part of it is, I think, a fundamental misunderstanding on Dane's part as to the skill involved with airblast works. His complaint is that every time he saw a projectile class, he immediately right-clicked and usually that resulted in a successful reflect, which he chalked up as "random luck". However... you're actually punishing the extreme predictability of enemy classes by doing so. If you get a reflect every time you see a soldier enter your field of view, that means the enemy soldier is always instantly firing a rocket as soon as he sees a pyro, which is an incredibly repetitive pattern that can be easily punished. The "luck" only works because too many soldiers are too used to immediately left-clicking any time they see any threat at all, instead of trying to bait out an air blast and punishing the pyro for mistiming it.

You know what's scary, the fact that it may be how Pyro actually sees everything. If everyone are babies to him (since he's hallucinating) then having babies pick on each other would be normal to him and he puts them in "time out" it may actually be a very accurate way Pyro sees his teammates.

@@wildpietro1079 pyro needs a set of goggles where it increases crit and weapon efficiency however that's all you see is Pyro land. Only pyro players with the goggles equipped can see Pyro land. It would be so wacky but fun. A whole new way to play the class and entirely by choice too. Not likely to happen but still a fun idea. Would really mess with players😆 I for 1, being a pyro class myself would love to have those goggles!

@@angelagibson2423 Unless the player's got a good loadout I generally ignore E spam. If they do have a good loadout they're usually trying to tell me they've got a plan and they need me in order to not die while doing it. Turning on the option to see the health of any player calling for Medic really helps you weed out the spammers, too.
