Glenn Howerton is an absolute god and it was amazing seeing him in Blackberry, went into it as a Matt Johnson fan and had no idea he'd be in it let alone as amazing as he was. Always Sunny is one of my favorite shows ever with Dennis being my second favorite behind Charlie, and Dennis Takes A Mental Health Day turned out to be one of those episodes that shocks me that the show is still as good as it as considering how long it's been going on. Glenn Howerton deserves lead actor in something big and whenever he gets it I will be there.

I meant “lip flap” (I guess I have always talked about it and never written it)😂 meaning to see someone’s mouth moving on screen that is not in sync with what is being spoken. Because I thought you had cut to yourself talking straight to camera like you do at the end of videos, because it ALMOST lined up with what you were saying, but after a couple of seconds, I realized it was just an old clip, like you just clarified. Regardless, thumbs up on this one. It shows you did a LOT of research for this one.

Glenn’s performance has similarities but Dennis as a character is patently not a psychopath. More than anything hes a clinical NPD. He literally gets upset no one gets him anything for Valentine’s Day haha not to mention his glibness is HIGHLY overrated. He’s able to manipulate the gang but outside that, name a time where his glibness really is on display? It’s usually times where the other person is a bit of a muppet . And not just glib, his charm. Think about it: we don’t ACTUALLY see him successful with woman in real time ever. We actually see him fail way more than succeed. The pharmacist is a good example. We only ever see flashbacks and everytime in person she foils his plot or hates him. Given he’s an NPD I would assume his flashbacks are inflated. Who else? Sage’s girlfriend? I mean that was under the guise of his plethora of drugs and kind bud. Gecko tat chick. The mother of his child. The chick from the funeral whose dad died. I mean again we only ever see him giving her looks and he claims he bangs her. But has to give a eulogy for gods sake to even give her google eyed gaze. He pulls down Margaret mcpoyle and ponderosa. I mean not exactly top brass talent. Meanwhile he strikes out tremendously with: - Charlies mom - Mac’s mom - Jackie Denardo ironically except for a LITERAL flashback yet again haha - bank teller - Tim Murphy’s wife - airplane chick with wedding ring tanline - literally implodes during the five star man episode - plenty more Fact is, he’s got no real superficial charm , cares genuinely whether the gang likes him, and his ability to manipulate is tethered only to his control of the gang who harvest about a room temperature IQ on the best days. He was phenomenal in the film I think we agree there !
