Route running and hands are FAR better metrics for a wide receiver than speed. Yah if you're running a 5.0 40 you're not going to make it as a WR in the NFL, but JSN ran in the 4.4s... the speed at that point doesn't matter... DK, Lockett, JSN... best WR trio in the NFL. Good luck defenses... oh, and you have to worry about Walker and Charbonnet in the backfield as well... oh and that speedy guy named Noah Fant.. lmao.. Seattle should be the #1 offense next year. Especially with Waldron.

Why is every so hyped about this guy you watch his film and he is really good at one thing playing from the slot , he does not have break away speed in the film often times getting caught with 5+ yards of space in front of the db. And that’s college dbs lol, he’s a slot receiver who isn’t fast and has 10 good receivers on his team with a really good qb. I don’t think he’s as good as people think

He makes defensive backs disappear when he decides to play he had one great year and I think he nursed that injury last year to protect that great year he had in 2021. Nobody has a hamstring injury that keeps them out for the entire season. i’m probably being too hard on the kid, but do you think if he played in that semifinal game we beat Georgia? I do, and to this day, it still pisses me off he didn’t play

This is the most interesting WR draft, many of the “top prospects” are what I would consider undersized and I felt many of the WRs ran slower than you’d expect in the 40 time - probably one of the most unimpressive showings in recent years. This is highlighted by the fact that many of the TEs put the same times or better despite weighing in at 40-70 lbs heavier. That makes this draft class really favor the teams that do their homework. I love this channel - I think Mingo and Boutte (lsu WR spelling) highlight as better prospects and more likely stars than the 10 names that keep showing up on brand name websites. You can deep dive their combine numbers, but they have the size and speed to be pro bowlers, but likely won’t show up on draft boards until the 3-5th round. I hope KC takes a chance. Boutte has top 5 talent and after QJ and JSN are off the board I think he’s going to be the steal of the draft.

Saying JSN couldn’t get faster is like saying Cooper Kupp couldn’t get faster. Guess what Cooper Kupp did get faster. He worked on it then put up one of the best receiving years every.

Ended up running a 4.48-52 so hes not as slow as people thought. I hope he gets to the pats at 14 if ppl thought meyers was good JSN would be better

sorry but the ,,jumping between the catch,, is nothing good ....when i was a receiver that was the main thing coaches tried to outcoach me because u are not able to move obviously when you are in the air. so jumping when not necessary is not good in my opinion.

Can’t deny he is a great route runner, but I think the love is a little overblown. He is probably never again going to have a great quarterback and TWO WR1s on the field with him to draw attention and preclude the defense from focusing on defending him. And if he ever does-hello Boyd from the Bengals-I think his production will suffer.
