The thing about Klopp is that he built a legacy wherever he went. He lifted Mainz 05 into the Bundesliga for the first time ever and established them in the league, then he took over Dortmund when they were still recovering from near financial death and led them to back to back titles, leaving them as the clear number 2 in German football. The rest we saw in the video. Definitely one of the greatest managers in modern football.

I know him personally from BVB, Michael Zorc etc. Kloppo says of himself "I'm the normal one." And he means it too!! Despite his skills as a coach, he remained a normal person. Not aloof, he is open to everyone and everything. A true role model! A true foreign minister for us Germans. 👍👍👍

You guys will give him a tough time at the day he is leaving this great club. It will be heartbreaking for Jürgen. May be he will come back to LFC in another function. Since Kloppo went to LFC 2015 in Germany we got more news about LFC every week. As a BVB fan I like LFC since the Match between both clubs 1966. But since Kloppo became the manager of LFC you thousands fans/supporters in Germany who gonna follow LFC every week. Get the other trophies for this phantastic human being. I'm wondering what the time after Klopp at Liverpool will look like. His departure left a huge hole in Dortmund, which no other coach has been able to fill to this day. There were good coaches there, but they always failed because of Jürgen Klopp's benchmark.

it’s not easy to find someone who can take the hot seat job…… easy to name names, but in reality LFC n FSG must carefully do their research properly to find the one that suits the club for a long term, not a short term… glad that Michael Edwards is coming in to help out…..

If it's one thing FSG are good at, and probably the best at too, is researching before investing. All the way from taking over Red Sox, to LFC, it's all been a masterclass all the way through. After owning the club for a significant time now, I'm sure they understand the fans a lot better and will always take the spirit of anfield into consideration while taking decisions. FSG are good owners, they've done it by the books always.

Update: Alonso announced that he will stay at Leverkusen (the right decision, imho), so he is out of the race. And yes, Klopp will be missed. I do not envy the manager who will take on the task to fill these shoes.

Yes announced earlier this week and we agree.. it’s the right decision for his development. The Sporting manager seems to be front runner but nothing concrete yet and again, agree that anyone who takes over is a very difficult task and we wish them luck!
