There's a reason Proctors DNA & Yuriy Buhinck DNA were both taken months before this trial. I guarantee the FBI is running that through previous or on going investigation there involved in. I believe the ADA Lally has been playing Proctor, the Alberts, McCabes & others. If you think about all there interviews and statements where half asked in reports with lies and nothing was properly recorded or documented. So what did ADA Lally do? He working with the defense let this go to trial as to not make it look suspicious like the FBI was really doing much. Now why did he do this? My theory is, ADA Lally never tried or showed any proff without a reasonable that Karen Read was involved in this. ADA Lally questioned these "witnesses" under oath on the record, recorded statements of what happened, because it never really existed anywhere else in bullshit police reports, where they were all pointing the finger here or this person didn't write this, or they didn't say that till this time. Now I don't even see this going to the jury, I see the defense starting there case in chief with there experts getting there testimonies on the record. Then once that's done the commonwealth will drop charges against Karen Read and we will all sit back and watch the Alberts, McCabes, police involved ect. That's my theory.

This woman cannot read body language! "A beaten down man"? That is the LAST thing Proctor was! He regrets nothing, except jeopardizing the case against Karen. He was smug. And he was NEVER apologetic, this commentator is very naive or an idiot. He used the same expressions over and over, as if he had been fed them and didn't know any others for himself. With no inflection or sincerity. Every time he had to read his own nasty filthy words, he added a formulsic preamble with "regrettable", or "unprofessional", "juvenile". Sometimes the trifecta. He never once said he was sorry for being nasty, for violating privacy and decency. He said they were "jokes", like that made them okay. This is just the culture, his wife said this morning that she has never been more proud of him ever. No one in Canton has any shame for this. Yes, his head was down sometimes, but this commenting ignoramus needs to learn the difference between how a person looks when he's been inconveniently caught and publicly embarrassed and how a person looks when he's truly regretful and ashamed of himself. cbs - YOU GUYS NEED SOME ONE COMPETENT OBSERVING IN THE COURT ROOM!

In this case, it could. In a trial, "guilty" and "not guilty" are determined by the jury. If the jury is disgusted enough by Proctor and his buddies, they could decide to vote "not guilty" in order to punish them, no matter what they believe happened to John. It's called Jury Nullification.

To me he did look a little bit regretful - but it's the kind of regretful expression that my son had when he was four years old and I caught him with his hand in a cookie jar. I think Proctor's biggest "regret" about all of this was that his mother was going to see it, or that his wife was going to tear into him later. That hang dog expression he was wearing isn't fooling anyone. ALSO, he's an IDIOT. I'm to believe that a State Trooper said these kinds of things to his friends? Yes. I know that men talk all kinds of shit. I'm to believe he said things things IN A DISCOVERABLE FORMAT? He's a MORON. Stupid is a choice, and Trooper Proctor made that choice.

@@silversmoke6 You should catch up about the pieces of her tail light cover found under the snow & more later when the snow had melted as well as Lots of tiny fragments, red & clear, that were in his Clothes. Then there's the broken cocktail glass that he was seen still holding when he left the Waterfall & the main piece was found by his body, plus little bits on the road. Read will get extra jail time for agreeing to go along with the Abysmal made up story that she & Jackson put out to the media. It's for this reason of blaming others & Lots of others that the prosecutor chose to put the cart before the horse. You kids should Understand that it's the Job of a defence lawyer to accuse other people for the purpose of trying to save their client from the gallows. The first thing Read said when she called Kerry Roberts was, that John was dead. She was the only one who knew a body was at that side part of the yard, under 4 - 6 inches of snow. Because of the child lock for the back doors, when she screamed that she saw him, she couldn’t get out & Jen & Kerry had Time to look around & saw Nothing. Who else but a vicious Nutter would Pretend to be soo Angry that her exit door was locked & so she was Kicking it which also showed her quick fire Temper, like the evil eyed Thing that she obviously Is. More than one first responder at the scene heard Read say she hit him. After the ambulance had taken John to hospital, Read kept saying that she wanted to kill herself, which is also an admission of guilt, due to remorse. Another ambulance had to be called & she was taken to the hospital for an assessment. When she later found out that there wasn't any ring camera footage nor did the cop cam footage pick up what she Said, she did the ole switcheroo about her Admissions. Since then, she has told various versions including for a TV interview, because she can't remember her Lies. FYI - the CCTV at John's house shows that she reversed her vehicle all the way back for no other reason than to deliberately bang into the back of John's car for the purpose of trying to cover up when & where the tail light cover on her car was broken. The authentic footage shows that she pressed a button on the console which was to disable the brake assist. You should know that the model of that vehicle had a reversing camera & screen & so, a Sensor. No doubt she went over to the Albert's house at that time in the morning to see if any pieces there but it had snowed too much by then. Aww. At the very beginning, Yanetti stated on the court house steps that it was an accident & she didn't mean to hit him. Then a performing clown was paid to accuse the cops of Her dirty deed & now people like you believe that every person in town who had a pulse is a liar. I pity all who believe that serving police officers have covered up the killing of one of their own. Then there's also the many EMT present at the scene & multiple others at the hospital, all of whom you accuse of doing the same. The evidence of her driving the route back to the Albert's house is Coming Up with the trial & the medical examiner will tell you that John did Not have two black eyes, for a Start. Evil personified is Karen Read who deliberately reversed from 60 feet away at 24.2 miles per hour & her ten ton Truck slammed into the head of a serving police officer as he was bending down & she just left him there to freeze to death. The actual strange part is all those who believe every word a Defence lawyer has been spouting from the rooftops as his Marketing ploy. Yawn. There are many Doctored photos of John’s arm as if lots of dark red blood as if from deep cuts yet not one photo shows Any blood on his arm Anywhere. The sole Purpose of Jackson's very public hooha in the lead up for the TV cameras, was for any potential jurors to be greatly Influenced. Only morons believe the Abrasions are from a dog & BTW - last time I checked, dogs have Bottom teeth also. Doh. It's about time that someone started showing pictures of a Square shaped Earth. LMAO. Imagine the Money I would make from those. No doubt You would be all-in on That con job too hey lovey. Jackson only started up his dirty deeds fairy tale because those at the afterparty were Cops & their family & so he included every cop in the State as a cover up squad yet one of theirs was killed. And the bagging of All cops in one basket was to grab the instant Attention of people like You, obviously. Only numpties believe Jacksons pathetic BS. Here’s how it goes - the more witnesses the prosecution had to put on the stand the More the trial drags out & so, the More work for her performing seals to do & so the Mega bucks that they get from Her. LOL. The best part about the whole trial is knowing that Read is Broke & she will Always be broke as John's niece & nephew will Sue her evil ass to hell & back next. LMAO. I will set up a scenario, a compelling event for all like you to actually Think about - let's say a child was killed by some male & female cops had Caught the mongrel with something called Evidence & they started running him down to the ground, calling him the Same names. Would you be upset about That? It is a fact that cops put their lives on the line every single day & they're doing all manner of Horrendous jobs every single day that 99% of the public would Never do. Then they deal with the Worst that society breeds for their entire working life. I as a citizen, get Very angry when Anyone murders a serving police officer & so should You. Just to add fire to the flame, Read then decided to spread More lies & had the Hide to accuse & Named, another police officer & Named a 17 year old as, John’s killers with Zero evidence to back up her crooked mouth, stating they Pulverised him, as shown via video when she was at the cop shop due to the upgraded charge of 2nd degree murder. She deserves every single derogatory word said & soo much More. She wasn’t satisfied with destroying John’s kids, family & friends, she had to do the Same to Loads of others & I for one hope she gets Life & then some for collaborating to do That too. Normal human beings see a bunch of very stupid people who instantly believed a clown of a lawyer who made up a story for the purpose of trying to save Read from jail, which is what defence lawyers Do. Then there's all the content creators who are every bit as stupid but who also get off on inciting hatred against every single person involved in this case because Hatred makes Money & that's why the tabloid magazines still proliferate in your country. Certain people within society just love to hate on the cops & so, the incendiary device that Jackson knew very well would go off with a big bang. People like you should take note of her Smirking when Proctor was talking about a certain text & that is because as a female with Borderline Personality Disorder, she is Loving it. You & your like are whining about a cop who was understandably venting because of a lowlife vicious cop killer but it is a Fact that Nothing said in any text will save that crooked mouthed wackjob. If Read is soo innocent, where’s her formal police Interview?? Doh. It will be particularly amusing to see Her on the stand but it is a given, that Won't happen because a) she's a simpy Coward b) she's Already shown herself up to be soo dense several times c) she has Publicly shown that she can't remember her Lies. Umm, BTW lovey, the trial is Not over. Doh.

@@fulloppositelock6778 This case went before Two grand juries, the 2nd was investigated by the Feds. The trial went ahead because she's guilty of reversing her ten ton Truck from 60 feet away at 24.2 miles per hour for the deliberate Purpose of killing officer John O'Keefe & that clown of a lawyer will not stop her jail sentence but he sure as hell sent her Broke pretending that he was going to. LOL.

In the military, I was the only female in my maintenance section. Unfortunately, none of this shocked me. After they felt I was "one of the guys", this "locker room" talk was common when women were not around. 😿 I had to deal with it to survive, basically.

It’s really quite mind boggling that a “professional” law enforcement official is unaware that his communications are a matter of evidence and public record.

The real sad thing that no one seems to notice is that THIS is actually NORMAL behavior for Law Enforcement Agents. "It was a joke" "it was unprofessional" The only reason he might be sorry is because he got caught AND his direct supervisor LIKED what he was texting. This is how LEAs talk about YOU Joe Citizen all behind the BROTHERHOOD curtain that we never usually see. AND WAIT there is way worse to come on Wednesday. This testimony was just scratching the surface of the LEAD INVESTIGATORS thought process in this case!

Because his supervisors are all cut from the exact same cloth as him… he clearly felt comfortable speaking about her the way he did, even in group chats with his bosses, who had no problem with anything he was doing. Really shows the culture of the entire group. He’s not “a bad apple” amongst a bunch of people with integrity. His behavior is reflective of the whole group.

It is their only chance of surviving this shit show i.e. if Karen Reed is found guilty. Therefore they will double down until the bitter end. And doubling down includes keeping Proctor on.

I’m somewhat confused about this case. In my opinion, the bottom line is that there is a dead guy (victim) who has been determined to have died under inconclusive circumstances. The state wants to say that he was hit by the defendant’s vehicle. Okay. But even if this is true, how can the state prove intent? If the defendant INTENTIONALLY struck the victim with the car, then prove it; prove intent. If she hit him and wasn’t aware of it, that’s not a crime. I think it’s important for the defense to show the jury the incompetence of the state’s investigation of this case, the lack of proper evidence gathering, evidence preservation, and just an all around unprofessional half stepping approach to this case. But ultimately, I think it’s more important to attack the evidence. Is the evidence credible? Was the methodology of gathering the evidence sound? Personally, I don’t believe it was. Intent is the number one thing the state needs to prove here. They have provided evidence of opportunity. Okay, she was in the area and it’s possible that she struck him with her vehicle, but does that prove intent? I’ve been hit by my wife backing out of the driveway. I lived, of course, but I also know that it wasn’t intentional. Now add a late night snow storm, poor visibility, and if you know anything about how heavy snow effects sound travel, you would know that it’s possible that you wouldn’t hear a thing. If it were my intention to kill somebody by hitting them with my vehicle, I doubt I would try to hit them at “idol speed” and then just drive away. Unless that person was made of glass, at best it would probably only knock them for a loop and then they land in some fresh snow. Maybe knock the wind out of them. This case stinks to high heaven.
