We're back with more Capcom vs SNK 2 aka CvS2 action! Today I had the pleasure of playing ‪@jwonggg‬ aka jwonggg, one of the all-time greats in this game! I learned a lot in the process of getting destroyed by his rolento, mai, sagat, and chang. Hope you enjoy the matches!

What’s funny he taught me too during during the early 2000’s When he lived on the east coast. He used to travel to Charlotte NC with Arturo & the gang.

Yea I met some of the Charlotte fgc at all the fall classics. You guys and the Raleigh scene are my main rivals in state, I got mad love for all my NC players doing their thing. Me and my roommate are make up the entire Wilmington scene, we been working alot during this pandemic times to level up for next time.

Heads up for everyone: input drops will be fixed in a few days now. RossenX found fixes fro Flycast and BEAR will be updated soon after the QA fase. Hopefully we don't have to stick to delay based and NullDC any longer. :D

Yessss... Love that you guys are giving this game the love it deserves. We haven't had online play since OG Xbox servers went down (PS3 did not have online play like MVC2). So it's way overdue!

So true I still own it Since mid 2000s. But Justin Wong is not the Goat of every Era. That's like listening to LeBron James saying he's goat. I think Justin is a good person and great player. But saying he's the Goat is so disrespectful to other gamers that came before him.

Man, Dreamcast games got rollback before DBFZ did, that really stings. Also, I really wish CVSNK2 would make a comeback in a remake or a remaster. Also, also, CAPCOM vs SNK 3 needs to happen.

You guys should check Thorgi's arcade's video on a hypothetical CvS3: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/i7ppa72Jm6mxeas.html He got and amazing roster of 40-something characters, explaining the reasons why they should be there, the teams they would form etc. Examples: Team World warriors (Ryu, Chun Li, Ken) Team hero (Kyo, Benimaru, Shun'ei) Team 3rd Stryke (Alex, Makoto, Dudley) And so on. His roster videos are really hype, I honestly don't know why it's not on eventhubs or any other fighting game specialized website, haha

Sadly Capcom actually wanted to make CVS3, but SNK was in the verge of bankruptcy at the time. Been almost 2 decades since CVS2 was released.

I couldn't get roll cancel to work more than once or twice. And I have trouble moving past it and just focusing on the game lol. It's so much fun though. Probably my favorite of the classics.

both work fine, the main difference is flycast dojo you connect by sharing a room code, while nulldc bear has server rooms you can challenge people in

CvS1 was close except it was 4 buttons and had some wonky character choices (like ex terry having no rising taco or fireball) But CvS2 nailed it with 6 buttons, good character picks, more characters, myriad meter variations, and the ratio system. The only thing I fault it on is some of the sprites are jank. I wish they all got the SVC chaos makeover. I dig the kof sprite work, even the crude kof sprites look better to me than the sloppier capcom ones.

I'd kill for anew CvS game. This game always seemed incredibly cool, but it is very, very inaccessible to a newcomer like me since it doesn't have most of the modern stuff that helps me actually play these games (better inputs buffers especially).

I don't remember CVS2 being this polite and friendly in the arcade. I remember bear fist fights breaking out. A lot of shouting arguments and people stomping out of the house too.

Jim that s so disrespectful. Calling him The Goat. Justin a guy who had every thing and wasn't dirt poor. Ut u saying he is the goat is like saying Lebron james is the goat in basketball and his better then every Nba guy who came before him. Even Mj and Pipen and Kobe and Larry bird. Dude Fighting games where here since the Late 80s and early 90s. Street fighter 2 & Mk flipped the scripts. So many gamers/ fighters cane befire Justin. He's online always so hes the goat there. But how about other years with Daigo the beast or Alex. In 90s and early 2000s U had a big fat black gamer tough guy un Marvel vs Capcom 2 Arcade. Then theres my brothers the solis and friends. They all were very good and beat so mamy in the midwest. Oh yeah then there was me the Show stopper. I was undefeated for many years in some of those years. Mid 90s and late 90s come on. In those years it was my era. I was considered the goat of that small era. Solis era. You couldn't defeat all of us. Oh yeah & the real best. Goat of 91 to 94 tomo. He was the goat of those years. Undisputed and undefeated for decades. That's history u should learn first.

That’s the point the realism are the characters drawn by snk artists and the cartoony is done by capcom that’s why depending the grove you select is how they come out.
