MBDTF is a masterpiece, the production quality was A1. The GOOD Friday tracks leading up to the album were gold. This was a hell of a roll out for an album and he did not disappoint at all.

MBDTF is easily among my top ten favorite albums of all time across all genres. I've never been able to really figure out why it resonates so deeply with me, but it does. Whenever I listen to it, I just feel it, like it's part of me, like it's part of my soul.

My favorite all time kanye moment was him performing that year at the VMAs. After the whole T swift debacle, after everyone calling him a douche bag, asshole, etc. he went away for a year completely and the next time we saw him was on that stage performing runaway. The perfect song and performance to maybe the greatest comeback in rap music ever.

knowing that bey, ashley and ebony rehearsed for weeks and filmed single ladies 28 times to get the perfect one-take video shot still blows my mind to this day. shoutout to frank gatson and jake nava too. and tina for designing and sewing the outfits herself! that video went viral before virality was even a thing. there were flashmobs and challenges across the globe for weeks, all in the pre-social media era! it was insane. a real moment in pop culture, and music history in general, that’s still referenced to this day. can’t deny it's impact, regardless of whether or not it won a VMA.

Lol yep. Kanye's biggest flaw is he refuses to be humble about it. But when there was a time where people were shutting him down and telling him he'll never make it that self-confidence was all he had. Although I didn’t ever agree with the idea that Single Ladies was the greatest video of all time, I still agree it was A LOT better than that Taylor Swift video (if it’s the one I’m thinking of). From at least what I remember, that Taylor Swift video looked like some really corny anti bullying video from middle school.

An artistic masterpiece of an album that tells a story about the beauty and dangers of fame and love presented in amazing ways with extremely realistic musical elements with pianos and orchestral sounds, and amazing usage of sampling small elements of some know/unknown 1960’s, 1970’s & early 1980’s old school songs to make something completely original. Also extraordinary mature subject matter used very well lyrically throughout the album. Whether you like Kanye or not this thing is thing is a masterpiece that won’t be forgotten.
