Thing is I get that, but yk we're the same age and to think how many sorry he missed bc his personality is craaazy. Whole 26 yo, I'm sure there's plenty time to fix that about yourself

I get feeling guilty and not knowing what to say during a serious incident. But as a 20-something year old I feel that saying “sorry” should automatically be someone’s first response 😅. He’s not 5 years old
@junosgladius

@@beaun8043 I mean we know nothing about his personal life but I know many people (especially guys) who never got the emotional nurturing they need at a young age and just like george they don't know how to apologize or say "i love you." Guys especially get conditioned from a young age to never be vulnerable in that way. You're right that he needs to fix that but it's difficult for those people to be open to therapy because accepting help and being open is quite literally a part of their problem.
@beaun8043
@beaun8043 Жыл бұрын
@@junosgladiusnah you don't get it when we're at this age, you can't blame your behavior bc your upbringing/environment anymore. Your brain is fully developed now, there's plenty of experience with social cues. And if you keep those behaviors even then, it means you didn't grow or you didn't think it's a problem at all. I wish he can do better tbh
@kaitlyn8kk
@kaitlyn8kk Жыл бұрын
@@beaun8043last part of the brain to develop I believe is the part responsible for emotions. And full development doesn’t fully occur until the mid-late twenties and he has just reached this age. Also trauma may be the cause of this which puts a halt to development. We’re forever learning and a fully developed brain doesn’t mean we’re done improving ourselves.

I relate to George 😬 expressing my feelings? Uncomfortable. Overthinking. Can't get out of my head or over my shame enough to say something albeit good but out of social pressure. Physical danger? Meh. I'll start being afraid when something happens to me. I can feel something lacking. I wonder if me and George have toxoplasmosis 🥲 because apparently it can change your personality and make you more irresponsible, e.g. proven more likely to get in a car accident. And if you're a rat, more likely to snuggle up with cats and become their prey so that the parasite may reproduce in warm kitty insides 😊 end of life plans: be eaten by my sweet cat. 12:51 Actually, for the laughing trauma response, it is because when you smile or laugh you let out a certain hormone which makes you feel good and happy, and your brain remembers that. So, to make you feel better when you feel uncomfortable your brain makes you smile and laugh. Lots of people have this when their embarrassed or feel awkward but it can also happen for certain people when their sad, stressed, chocked or even angry.

i can tell you guys are taking criticsm from the audience and applying it super well !! super funny to see you guys bicker abt interrupting each other but it rlly is nice to see you guys trying real hard not to! this episode was very much more enjoyable to listen to because of that fact, keep it up !! :DD

Just a personal tip guys but it’s hard to follow a story when theres constant interruptions from all sides and I understand that Karl interrupts in an attempt to clarify the story but its just another interruption that disrupts the story imo. I dont mind the little arguing because its fun and its your personality but add it to the interruptions and its just hard to listen to.

Laughing is a coping mechanism, so laughing at funerals or after trauma is actually completely normal

The fact that the title was “Karl almost died in a crash” made my heart drop. That’s is so sad 😞 I’m glad he survived so that he can make amazing content 😊

I do not understand George because when me and my siblings are riding bikes (NOT ELECTRIC VEHICLES) we yell out to tell each other when we’re breaking and when we’re coming up beside them or right behind them

honestly i’m the same like george. i am able to express my emotions to strangers like if i bump into a stranger i’ll apologize so much but if it’s something i know, i dont and not because im not sorry but it’s just hard to express your emotions to people you know

Glad everything ended up fine but If George almost kills someone he should say sorry. Everyone in the comments are just babying him. a 'sorry' won't kill him
