Watching this almost 1 year after my own laser eye surgery - so weird watching from 3rd perspective! Nor regrets tho, it doesn't hurt and the quality of life improves A LOT. The vision is way better than wearing glasses. So if anyone's considering this - don't hesitate. Just make sure to do some research about your doctor! So happy for Dongin :)

The most amazing thing is that not only do they do very thorough examinations of the patient, but the most surprising is that they can offer surgery on the very same day as the consultation..!!! That would never happen anywhere else...or at least not in the Western countries I think!

I just got my surgery three weeks ago 🥺I’m so happy for him . My vision was so bad -7,5 and i had astigmatism in my left eye , but now I’m seeing clearly after 13 years of wearing glasses and contact lenses . my vision is +1 now 🎉

It’s been almost a year since I got my laser surgery done, took only 10-15 minutes and now I don’t even feel like I ever had glasses. Life’s much easier and clear 😄

I had lasik done and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. 12 years and counting. I used to be -12 in both eyes. Now, I’m close to 20/20. Congratulations 🎊🍾🎉🎈

Thanks for the video! I have -9 and would love to be able to see without glasses but I'm so scared of the laser operation. But seeing Dongin being so happy with his makes me less scared!😊

Glad it worked out for him. I did mine 2 years ago but it didn't go well. Couldn't see much for two weeks, had a very long healing period, scarring etc. After 2 years, 2 follow up procedures and dozens of check up visits, I see 100% on one eye and only 80% on the other. I also have very dry eyes and have to use a lot of eye drops every day.

@@shroukeladawy4310 Yes I am I had a lot of stress right after which slowed my recovery however now days I can see better than I ever have since birth and even better than with glasses! so I definitely don't regret the decision! would recommend!

I'm so scared as everyone else is about getting the surgery but so so so excited for the day I'll finally get it because I'm short-sighted since I was 7 years old and I'm almost 20 now. I just want to get it ASAP once I'm in a place where I can focus on getting the surgery. I'm very scared, my mom is very skeptical but I think she'll get to see and understand how beneficial it's going to be for me once I get it and realize how safe it actually was. So happy he can see now. I went totally blind in my left eye. The eye surgeon took my lens out and put a nuclear lens in. When I opened my eyes after it was over, I already had 20/20 vision. 2 years later I still have 20/20 vision. Glad you said to research who you choose to do your eyes. You want the best. My surgery was less than $3,000 and my insurance covered it. I’m American but my surgeon here is Korean, so I knew I had one of the best. ❤️🇺🇸

I am quite familiar with these machines and clinics and i am also blind without specs. Sometimes it gets so annoying that you can't even express what it feels like looking at the world in 144p. Waiting for the day to hear today's your last day with glasses 🥲

Wow he got Lasik I guess and yeah it's so uncomfortable putting lenses and going through glasses sometimes I feel so irritated . I hv been using contacts since 5 years now my vision is very bad and my glasses it's very heavy so since then my doctor advise me to put contacts ..M eagerly waiting for Lasik surgery Doctor said there is certain age where our vision power remain constant..is there anyone like me watching the video?

I’ve had glasses my whole life and idk what dongin meant by -4.75..? (I know there’s numbers associated w prescriptions but) Anyway my vision used to be quite bad. I’d see double almost anytime I took my glasses off, and I’ve always had an astigmatism and a strabismus in one eye. It’s actually pretty annoying because I can feel how much weaker my right eye is. My dad has the same problem, but he wasn’t treated as well as me so he’s legally blind in that eye and it’s really lazy. My grandpa had the same problem, but in his left eye. So at least 3 generations had lazy eyes 😳 I got off topic but my point was that if I ever got eye surgery it would be to correct the lazy muscle in my right eye. I think about it a lot but it’s probably not worth it lol 😭 good for everyone who actually does eye surgery, it’s really scary to put your vision into someone else’s hands. That takes bravery
