Also the fact that Liu was still stuck as a soul and was never able to reunite with his corpse and later on after the pyramid of Argus eruption Dark Raiden and Liu fought once again like their previous battles before them across different timelines and Raiden most definitely killed Zombie Liu

Armageddon ended in a dark manner where Shao Khan actually won and Raiden only "won" because he reset the universe, MK 2011 is not the same as Armageddon which means in that universe and game the bad guys won. Speaking of MK 2011 the good guys really lost hard, 80% of their forces were slaughtered and converted to Shinnok's servants and their defenses were breached.

@@KellyCalKelsey What I mean here is, the hero is truly lost. In Armageddon, originally Taven was the one who supposedly win. However NRS just simply retcon it for the sake of rebooting the franchise via MK9. They don't even explain how the hell Shao Kahn escape Onaga. Is just stupid. I don't even care about Armageddon plot anymore because of the reset timeline. For 2011, Raiden win against Shao Kahn. Doesn't matter how many good guys die in that game, at the end Raiden win, so good guys still win. For Deadly Alliance, they all lost and got killed. Nobody win against Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, not even Raiden. And at the climax, even Shang Tsung and Quan Chi got killed alongside Raiden when they desparately try to stop Onaga. That why I say Deadly Alliance plot is the only MK game where bad guy wins. They mop the floor all the good guys here.

@@shawziiz5031 yeah, that's the problem with creating a villain so powerful to the point where no one can defeat him, I mean ok if that's what they were aiming for but it must've left a sour taste in the mouth of fans if the franchise had ended like that, thankfully Mk9 rebooted the mess they did.

Even though I grew up with Deadly Alliance/Deception/Armageddon (As well as the classic games) I have to say that although the storylines were great in the 3D games, the gameplay SUCKED!!! All those overly complicated combos and fatalities....PLUS, for me, fighting games should be either 2D like the classic games, OR 2.5D like Super Smash Bros. I hated the 3D arenas.....Deadly Alliance is my LEAST favorite main MK game......although Deception is one of my FAVORITE MK games (for some reason)
