@@Rafael.Oliveira29 Here in germany we call someone like you an „erfolgsfan“, someone who only cares about success and forgot what football really is about. Its all about the feelings, the feeling when your team beats your rival regardless of points on the table, the feeling of managers and players fighing for your badge regardless of your place on the table, hell even the feeling of a major loss, thats why we love the sport, is it not? He worked his hardest for all of those clubs and gave them all he had. The promotion with mainz into the bundesliga, his back to back Bundesliga titles and the champions league finale with dortmund, how he transformed liverpool into the team we know today and won with them their first major titles in years. As a United fan I remember fans bandying Klopp as a potential successor for Sir Alex when he left. Behind Guadiola and Mourinho of course. Liverpool did well to get him and work with his strengths. I think Woodward would have wasted Klopp if he had been signed instead of Moyes. What I respect about Klopp is something he and all great managers have. He has great working relationships with all the staff and this is how he gets the best out of the players who have been carefully selected. Regardless of criteria used to select potential recruits there is a blend of characters that form a winning squad. Anyone that disrupts this is moved on or not signed. Same with any long term successful club. It is always impressive as the consistency in form is a repetative behaviour, almost a group hypnosis and peer pressure conformity. Klopp's management is a key part of the Liverpool success.

And under Klopp theg became two of the best players in prem history…. And then…to compete against the unfair advantage that Bayern and now City has had is something truly special…something I don’t think any other Manager could have pulled off

As a Liverpool supporter, losing the title by 1 point twice, and losing 2 CL finals has been hard to swallow. But then you remember 10 years ago, and realize how incredible the last 5 years have been. And I think we are lucky that our owners are very involved into the club and want success, not just money ! In the Premier League, I think we have the best owners to be fair. They're rarely mentioned because we don'tt see them much, and people dislike owners in general, but ours have done very good choice recently. But as you said, of course Klopp is the n°1 reason of the success ! I think he's the best manager in the world. Who can take a top8 team (especially in the PL) and make it one of the 2 best in 3 years? Who can maintain such a level during several years like he's done in 2 clubs now. He's the best man-manager, this is for sure. The players love him, and therefore love playing at Liverpool. But he's also a great tactician, with his own unique style. I wish for him to stay as long as he wants and has the motivation. Then maybe we'll have Gerrard? He seems to be a good manager already. And he's a respected figure for the players. Anyway, I see success for more years to come. Klopp has replaced departing players well. You mentioned the core of the 2017-2021 team. But players like Thiago, Jota, Konate, Diaz are doing very well, as will Nuñez I'm sure, and young players have emerged like Curtis Jones and Harvey Elliott. I'm confident Klopp can successfully manage the transition from one core team to the next, making changes slowly, one or two important players each year, to replace the older and departing ones. YNWA

American fan here. The Red Sox have been up and down since 2018. They hired this supposed genius from a rival team to help revamp their team and his main attribute was cutting cost but also getting value for the money spent. In 2020 they traded one of the best players on their team and in all of MLB, Mookie Betts, to the LA Dodgers because they didn’t want to pay him ( he signed a 12 year 365 million contract with LA). Now in 2022 the team is in a weird place. Many of their homegrown talent are seeking new contracts and negotiations have been sort of rough. After some good moments in the playoffs last year this team is now struggling to find form. FSG don’t seem to be following that same path with Liverpool seeing as they resigned Salah.

I think it comes down to business decisions. Henry is a business man after all. FSG probably view a couple hundred million dollar investment in football will yield a greater return than the same investment in baseball. Baseball is a risk averse sport without relegation, champions league, etc like in football. You can pay someone a couple million a year and still get similar revenues as paying someone like Mookie, Devers, or Bogaerts 30m + a year. This is clearly why Henry was pro Super League. Makes football more risk averse which means easier $$$ for the billionaire owners. So sad. Cheers from a Red Sox and LFC from Boston

As a german who was able to witness Klopp not only as a coach, but also at a player i had no doubt that he'd be able to create something big at LFC. He himself, the club and the city are essentially created for each other (i hope this makss sense, grammar wise) I knew, that if they'd give him some time and let him do his thing, maybe fail one or two times, he'd bring LFC back on top. Awesome video btw.. 1st time coming across one of your vids and i really enjoy your style. Instantly subbed, no question asked...

LFC fan since 2009 i have experience the depths of hell with Hodgon and his players like paul conchesky, jay spearing to brendan rogers and the SSS frontline now with Klopp's team.

Watching liverpool develop over the past decade has been magnificent to watch. Their signings from staff to players have been incredibly intelligent. There's nothing more satisfying than watching them snag a promising talent and see them slot right into an already performing first team

As an American I guess I should be the one to say that the Boston Red Sox are still doing well. They haven’t reached anywhere near the heights of 2018 and they traded away their best player Mookie Betts, but they’re still playoff contenders with one of the best batting orders in the league

I am good friends with klopp. We meet up almost every week for a coffee and a catch up. Infact it was me who told him to buy nunez and salah. Klopp says to me the other day, "I'm really happy you told me to get these 2". I told him, "Look J. K. you don't need to thank me, you just get the best out of them". And he nodded in agreement. The thing is I knew these players before. So I knew their strengths. Salah is going to be brilliant this year as he is now settled. he told me this only yesterday. Nunez will take a few weeks to fully settle in. But I can give you my personal assurance, that once they are settled, this team will not lose a single game.

Big Red Sox fan commenting from Massachusetts! 2018 was one of the best baseball teams ever, with the Red Sox doing historically well. We have fallen off a bit since then, but still made it into the final 4 teams (ALCS) last year and may make the playoffs this year. Typically competitive. Go Sox! And Go United!
