A lot of you have requested to see how Londoners go to work and what is the rush hour walk in London is like. We will be taking a walk in London's financial district. Fully shot in 4K HDR, We will explore the areas from Liverpool Street Station and walk towards Bank of England.

I’m loving that Londoners know how to use the escalators properly , here in the US , no one steps to the side to let the faster walkers get by them . Drives me crazy 👍

Yes....we don't have enough escalators so it's squeeze here and squeeze there all along the tube

Actually, in Washington D.C., the left side is for walking and the right side is for standing. During “tourist season” (the summer) they will let people know over the intercom to not stand on the left side and block traffic, but the tourists sometimes do it anyway. It drives the locals crazy because they’re always in a hurry and mumbling to themselves “damned tourists!” 🤬

That Elizabeth line is crazy, to go from canary wharf to Tottenham court road in 12 mins is astounding it's like going from the world trade centre to central park in 12 mins,. A journey that mostly takes 40mins

The Elizabeth line section was beautiful, nice architecture. I hate commuting by any form of public transport. The weaving of people and monotony of it makes a terrible start to my mornings. A nice walking or cycling commute is what I prefer.

Escalator etiquette in Australia is 'keep left unless overtaking', just like our freeways. Works when everyone adheres to considerate behaviour but some have no clue or are selfish.

Do you use any kind of noise canceler in this video? I'm from Sao Paulo and I couldn't believe in how quiet London is, it looks like everybody is acting to me 🤣 Can't hear loud motors in the streets or loud conversations... It's just mindblowing lol

Hey! I understand how you feel hahah. I live in Barcelona and my boyfriend is colombian. Everytime I go to Colombia and come back to Barcelona I am amazed by how quiet the airport feels. Then I get used to it. And I don't think that Barcelona is particularly silence compared to other european cities.

@@leeb.7188 As a European that is so funny. I think Europeans try to have a good quality of life which is why we like quiet. The odd thing is that although this rush hour is generally quiet, London is a very noisy city , in general.

I'm struck by how quiet everyone seems to be. No one's hollering their conversation through their cell phone. No rowdy teenagers bopping around to their loud@ss music. No nimrod guys loudly cat calling females from across the street. No idiots driving around in souped up vehicles with obnoxiously loud engines that nearly break your eardrum. I watched this just to check which side to stand on the escalators. In Australia it's the opposite, you stand on the left and walk on the right and the amount of times I've almost been bowled over is fascinating. I think it's the opposite for walking paths as well, since I've nearly been run over by cyclists too many times

There's alot of homeless people and graffiti in that part of the city mate the video just didn't show it as the train station opened last month that's why it's clean.

This is a new station. London has the dirtiest train stations, and they will let this one get that way too. Plus, there are constant issues with the trains. Don't be fooled, the grass is not greener here 😂

There is no Royal Albert Hall, Oratory, or Albert Memorial in NYC. Nothing that comes close. Well, perhaps the old Penn Station but of course they tore that down in 1963.

I'm a Brummie but I must make my comment I have heard fellow Brummies etc dish Londoners for no reason at all .. But watching this video has just reiterated the fact that despite what goes on in London with politics with climate changes just recently floods the ordeal of Grenfell years back ....in the face of adversities Londoners have shown courage resilience and determination and still go about day to day with their lives ...almost like " THE SHOW MUST GO ON" I SALUTE THEM THEY ARE INSPIRATIONAL I HAVE A WHOLE NEW FOUND RESPECT FOR THEM .... IV NEVER BEEN LONDON LIFE JUST NEVER ALLOWED me ANY BUSINESS THERE BUT SOMEDAY I WILL VISIT ITS A VIBRANT CITY RICH IN DIVERSITY MULTICULTURAL SO MANY PLACES TO GO AND SEE it has a Mesmerising aura, despite its flaws and expensiveness IV FALLEN IN LOVE WITH LONDON AnD ITS DWELLERS
