I just tested my eb3a on an iceco go 20 In my house. I got 17 hours and 30 minutes. Set at 37 degrees and 71 ambient temp. I'm pretty impressed with the eb3a and the iceo go 20. I can't wait till I test it for camping as well. I'll be using it with a 160w panel.

Thanks for the video. I'm in the market for a power station to run my car fridge. It's a 36l (dunno what that is in quarts) Dometic/Waeco which according to the specs draws a max of 90w which sounds high. But with a 30 percent duty cycle which is average for fridges of this type, that means that the Bluetti should be enough to run it overnight on battery alone. Of all of the power station reviews that I've read and watched to date, none of them have done what you've done - and that's to use it in a practical way in real world applications. Lots of tests using equipment best found in labs seem to be the norm for those folks. So, based on what you've done the EB3A should be fine for me. It will have a solar blanket for when we're parked up, or if we're off driving it will be plugged into the 12 DC Outlet in the back of my car. In camp I can run it from 240v (this is in Australia) til we go to bed then I can lock up the car after putting the 240v extension lead away. Thanks again. This makes my purchasing decisions a lot easier.

So i have two of these, i bought first one to go on a camping trip, unfortunately got cancelled out because of bad weather but i do use it, i was just using the one to charge up my dogs gos collar, the extra one i bought because it was on a good sale, but these small ones are for low amo draws, i tried plugging a household vacuum in, didnt power a vacuum, definitely wont power a microwave or a real fridge, but what i like about this product is i forget the word they use, but you can use the flow through power while the solar panel is charging it up, and bluetti gives you the solar cable which is a huge plus, the battery has a spot for solar plug, id use this as a battery back up for like a computer, or a charging station for lithium ion batteries for my battery powered tools

/gps collar, in hindsight I'd go for a bigger unit, to be able to back up power my chest freezer if need be, or my home mini fridge, I'd go for bluettis 1000watt model, I also like the new models ecoflow has been coming out with, I really like ecoflows whole house back up, I'm not sure but it might have the ability to tie into your breaker box, just like a Tesla powerwall

This is the second power station video.. where the person doing the video takes off. If your doing a video.. shouldn't you be monitoring the devices.. so the people following the video can figure out what the exactly the devices are doing?

Good vid. Ran my EB3A indoors with same Bougerv fridge for 15 hrs, and stopped it at 27% remaining. It probably could have run another 3 hrs. The difference from yours? I had pre-cooled the fridge to 37F with constant indoor temp of 75F. I also have two Bluetti EB70s generators and the EB3A will be a great backup to keep fridge 24/7 when, not if, SHTF.

I just tested my eb3a on the iceco go20 at 37 degrees and 71 ambient temp. I got 17 hours and 30 mins. Now with solar it looks like it can run indefinitely. I am expecting the same 10 hour results this video has when I go camping but will be topping it with solar

add a lipo4 12,8 v 50Ah and you would add 600Wh to your EB3A !!!!!!! 12,8v x 50ah= 640wh

If it had a port to connect an extra battery, it would be my choice but it does lack on features that are standard to other power stations.

You can easily add an external battery by connecting it through the charging port. Since the eb3a has pass through you can charge it continuously using for example a LifePO4 100 AH battery while powering devices through the eb3a. Total watt hours for the system would be almost 1500. There are videos on how to do that on KZfaq.

I have a 500watt / 110 volt / 55000 lumen flood light? Would this be able to run the flood light? My purpose of this light is mainly for squiding, so looking for at least 3hr run time.
@ProjectFrugal
@ProjectFrugal 5 ай бұрын
The EB3A is 268wh so it's likely you'll only get about 30 minutes or so of usage with that sized flood light. Don't quote me on that!

Hi, Thanks for your video!!! It was helpful. It seems if a small power station could power a small fridge, it should be able to power several LED lites, a table top fan, and maybe boom box as well. Is this an accurate assessment? I need to power about - 8 ea regular plug in lamps using a 15 watt LED bulb prox 10 hrs a day, 4 days a week - 6 ea Photo lites 15 wat, LED 5600K USB 66 LED about 3 hrs a day, for 3 days a week - 1 ea desk top fan prox 5 hrs a day on hot days - and hopefully a small boom box. I do plan on getting a water proof solar panel to charge the power station. Do you think the Bluetti EB3A would be sufficient for this load? Or would the Bluetti EB70 be a better choice? Also, would you have any suggestions for a water proof solar panel that I could plug into either of these stations? I am in a sunny area with a mild climate. It does get hot though on some days in the summer. Your input would be welcomed. Thanks!!

I know that you stay busy bro. But I'm dying to know, would the eb3a run a 3.5 cubic chest freezer?
@ScottsSolarProjects
@ScottsSolarProjects Жыл бұрын
👍🏼 I need to say you should be careful because normal fridge/freezers typically have a high startup compressor that can draw up to 1000 watts for about 1 second and then drop clear down to about 100-200 operating watts, which of course the EB3A can handle. It’s just the initial startup that is the challenge. So use at your own risk (though I’ve tried it and haven’t seen any damage yet.) you can expect the battery to last about 1.5 hours of continuous run time. So if the fridge cycles on and off it might be able to prolong up to 6 hours (just guessing) unless you have enough solar power coming in you could potentially run indefinitely. I hope that helps and congrats on your purchase!

I would not rely on this device to keep my 12v fan running all night. My usb fan runs all night and then some. It takes two charges of my Mac laptop to almost deplete it. I only use it for small devices charging. I will test it with my 12V small fridge and see if it holds up to at least 7 hours. My fridge is at home now, so no car, and outside too hot inconveniences.

I have a USB Fan that I put into a sheet of plywood that fits in the slots of my car's sun roof. Great for parking at Tourist Attractions where the car is left out in the sun all day, as the Fan Pulls all the Hot Air out! At the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC, Canada, the Bluetti EB3A went from 100% down to 73% after spending 4 hours there, and kept the car cool inside.

I am guessing that overnight, with cooler temperatures, in Canada, this would run the fridge all night and then some?

The EB3A in my opinion is not a good option. It overheats when charging and it has other issues that needs addressing by Bluetti.

Is that during dc direct charging? Or AC fast charging? For me, I would be only DC charging via solar or 12v from the car. So curious what scenarios it overheats when charging.
