The reason it didn't land in the same spot is because you didn't do the correct procedure during take off to enable precision landing. First, the home point must be recorded on take off (so you need at least 12 satellites), which you had. On take off though you need to fly straight up (no forwards, backwards, left or right movements) to 7 meters / 23 feet and hover there for about 5 seconds. As long as it's a distinctive enough area like a landing pad it should identify the area when it returns and make adjustments to land there. I've done this a number of times and every time it landed within a couple of inches of where it took off from, it’s super impressive. Annoyingly it doesn’t notify you at any point that precision landing has been activated though.

Hi Jack, thanks for this interesting video. An interesting test would be to put the Air 3 in a slow circular flight using cruise control and seeing on how long the Air 3 would fly.

This was a good test. Most of us who want our batteries to last as long as possible don't let them get much below 20%. Right around 30 minutes was pretty much what I expect to see from these and that's a nice long flight for most people.

Just starting video but had a thought, has anyone measured rhe voltage at 0%? Knowing DJI they might be calling 0% 3v(lion) or 3.8v(polymer) per cell 0% in an effort to ensure the cells are not damaged.

Turn off all the extra features and record in 1080p it will go almost the battery time.

I find that hard to believe.. I turned off all features and didn’t record at all and got max 37 minutes before battery depleted

They let you drain them to 0 in the charger hub to when you need to charge up one battery from the other 2 batteries why is that.

It's probably fine once in a while for accuracy but not every single time Dji programs these for safe voltage ratings
