How to avoid dentists: Avoid eating hard foods Avoid sugary and acidic foods Tooth killers are sticky, sour and sugary things. Do not brush your teeth soon after eating acid food. Instead try to rinse your mouth with water or just floss. Say goodbye to soft drinks. They murder your teeth. Search what foods are good for your teeth and try to eat them more often. Cheese, sesame, olive, green tea... Stop drinking coffee~ Replace it with green tea. It also keeps you young and fresh! Brush twice a day with a soft brush (Learn how to brush properly so to avoid hurting your gum). Throw away hard brush. Just keep a medium brush and use it seldom just to remove stains only on your teeth and without contacting your gum. Floss while brushing and use thin floss and push tooth paste between your teeth after brushing (this is so effective to stop carries). Rinse your mouth with saltwater for 2 mins after brushing. Rinse your mouth twice a week with Hydrogen Peroxide (%3) solution. Doing this for 30 years. Never had a filling afterwards or gum disease. Using extra thin floss is so important for your gum. Thick flossing destroys your gum.

I regret for not taking care of my teeth during my teen years. I got 4 extraction but fortunately most of them are molars or inside which is not visible even when I smile fully. I also have 5 filling, 4 are small the one is quite large. Got braces at 27, I am now 28 and I become so aware of my oral health now, I drink only water and sometime raw pure ginger.Pyodontyl is my toothpaste, I brush thrice a day and using Interdental brush at night. Never been this happy like this before, my teeth is so bright looking and my gums became pink.

I have a lot of filling in my teeth. so in order for them to make it long last, I hardly avoiding from eating hard kind of food. Because We all know that it's just a filling, means not real teeth. And it also because it is not a real tooth means it remove easily when you're not biting or even chewing your food correctly. So be careful on what you eat.

I've had one filling about 10 years and in the middle of chewing gum, I a very small piece of my filling came out. I'm gonna see the dentist as soon as possible to get this fixed. It doesn't hurt when I eat anything (although I'm very careful nonetheless the less). Edit/update: since posting this comment, I got my filling replaced about 5 days after posting said comment. The procedure went over without incident and everything is fine! :D

Im terrified my dentist checked my teeth and she said it might be rct we need xray first, but it is just a super small decay and it doesnt even hurt at all no sensitivity whatsoever, im worried if she wants to get more or they dont do fillings without xray?
