Don’t asked why a person of color brings color into things. Because people of color usually never see color in the world. Seeing a person that looks like you doing the same thing you want to will always be an amazing feeling. Just like a person with dyslexia single person with dyslexia do something that they want to do is amazing feeling.

@Arch - E You should understand that we have to work twice as hard for each and every opportunity! So to see someone else who is black achieve our dream inspires us and gives us hope. When you see someone before you achieve something, you know you can do it too.

JisooTurtleRabbitKim 8 years means 8 years AFTER your 4 years of high school. You’ll be 21/22 when you get your first degree. But an additional 4 years of vet school means you’ll be about 25/26. Hope this helped!!! :)

angelxdahyun girl you have to go to university and get a bachelors degree which takes 4 years then you have to go to vet school for 4 years so in total it takes 8 years so you will be 26 not 22

Chicken Unicorn unless they did running start and started early. I know of a few people that took hs classes in middle school and eventually took college courses their freshman year of hs. Very smart people, quite rare though.

Of course! As long as you have your certification for which ever branch of science you would like to work in within 3 years if you'd like to teach in a highschool, then I feel you'd be able to achieve that goal😁🐶🐏

Not every school requires a bachelor's degree

Hmmm, not so sure about graduating earlier because everything is paced out specifically so you receive all the knowledge on subjects you need to know. For example, in college for your bachelors degree, you can take summer classes and winter classes in order to graduate early. That's not possible for vet school and I know for the vet school I'm applying to, you are in classes two of the four summers that you will be attending vet school. Graduating early doesn't happen for vet school. And surgeries - yes you get to perform them in vet school while you are being supervised by veterinarians/your professors. Although you typically don't do surgeries until your 3rd or 4th year, though some schools do minor ones earlier.

Natty Ras Star You should be able to go to City or Community college first depending on what your felony is and how long it's been. After four years it would be a chance game wether you can get into veterinarian school. I'm sure if you work hard and get good references you'll be able to.

Hi Alanah. I have saved many animals lives, too many to count. And Yes, it hurts me emotionally and physically every time I see an animal or human in pain. Sometimes I cry if the animal is really sick, if I have to euthanize an animal or if the owner is sad. But it doesn't stop me from wanting to keep caring for them. I just focus on how I can help them feel better.

Hi Althia! thank you for watching. No a residency is not required to practice on exotic pets. Many veterinarians will do an internship following graduation to get more experience working with exotics or join a veterinary practice with an experienced exotics veterinarian who can mentor them.

Serious reply, it's possible without getting an actual degree as long as you do the required classes, but you have to be really spectacular in other areas such as experience and interviewing skills to even be seriously considered.

I believe you can, you can be a veterinarian technician and go straight to vet school (Correct me if I'm wrong)
