How Long Does It Take To Walk Around Lake Geneva, WI?

This is a hyper lapse of walking fully around Lake Geneva in Wisconsin captured on 4/3/2021. There is a section where the hyper lapse got turned off, so it is a little jumpy and I had to 15x the regular video footage. It does get corrected and turned back on for later in the video.

killer vid. i slowed it down, it made the music interesting in a unique way. the only thing that would make it better is a fall video with the piers still in the water. curses to my flat feet. ive only walked most of it in sections. too bad the lakefront couldnt be open the whole way. that one part were you missed your turn should be open along the lake for the people. thanks man

@@robstravelsadventures - This video really provides the viewer with a sense of what the terrain is like, how narrow the path can get when navigating around certain properties, and approximately how long it would take to hike/walk the entire path. I’m sure this wasn’t easy, so thank you again for allowing us to tag along 🙏💯🚶

What a gorgeous day! Wish I wasn’t preparing the Easter feast for my family on the 3rd! I would of loved to walk the path!

Do you know if there are other lakes in Chicago area to have similar Lakeshore paths?

Not that I know of that have a path or way around the entire lake. I wish more lakes did have that option to walk around them, especially how large Geneva lake is and they were able to do it. Granted that was because it was an old Indian trail and historically had to be left to have access to walk around it.

I just did the hike three days ago. I'm 62 years old and it took me nine hours. Did the hike ten years ago and it took eight hours. Guess I'm getting old

@@carljerde1483 I try to do the hike every 3-4 years and I can really feel the speed decrease each time. I am still happy I am able to still do it though it takes me longer each time.

@@robstravelsadventures I'm going to try it again Wednesday or Thursday it's supposed to be 65 degrees
