Not sure if it really does anything but it helped for me to get it out as fast as possible! 1. Laxatives ( shit it out fast lol )2. Lots of water (pee it out) 3. Probiotics bubbly drinks (helps get rid of bad stuff in your gut ) 4. Those drinks you get at the smoke shop to help clean your system from drugs. 5. If you can do something to sweat Now don’t know what a doc says about this but it helped me and helped get out system quick.

Well if you are stopping laxatives won't be needed normally probably won't have a solid crap for days but that's just my experience

I've heard so many different stories the one that confuses me is they can stay in your system 5 - 8 days or14 days if you have liver problems and I just seen another doctor say it only stays in your blood 2 days

I went through hellish months after tapering down to 1 mil a day, the I jumped ship, at months 6 the withdrawals would not let up, soI went back on them that was 8 years later.

Came off it fully twice. In prison. First time it took months. Went from taking a whole 8mg strip a day down to a quarter, took a quarter a day for 2 weeks then an 8th a day for a week, 16th a day for a week, 32nd a day for a week and it still took two or three months to get back to normal. Didn’t sleep for a full two weeks, until I got my hands on a some Clonidine. I mean ZERO sleep for that whole time, no naps, no dozing just AWAKE with restless legs, tossing and turning, just fucked up. Once I was able to sleep a little, few hours at a time it got slightly better. The other time, went from a whole half an 8mg a day, got sent to the hospital, only had one whole on me, took 8ths for 3 days then they put me on these small morphine pills, half a day. Didn’t feel them for a day. After ten days they stopped those and I didn’t feel any kinda of withdrawal from either, it was like the magic spot. If I ever try to get off buf I’ll try that but I’m such an addict I know it’ll just start up opiate addiction.

It's a whole lot harder to quit than they let on!!! I went on it because I was told it's not addictive and no withdrawals but here I am and yes the withdrawals are very bad for some of us

My Dr gives me 5 - 2mg pills a month. I cut it into 8ths with an exacto knife . Yes crumbs. Don't stop tapering guys. Every time you taper, the discomfort will only last a couple days and you will adjust fast.

Ive been on subx for 2 wks after being on opioids for 10 yrs. Still suffer with chronic pain but WD symptoms are being managed. I just dont want to trade 1 addiction for another.

Why are you on it the wds have been managed a long time ago. The only reason to be on it long term is if you have no self control and will just go back to heroin if it's not there blocking it

You need to try and change your opinion of suboxone. I'm on it as well. You're not trading one addiction for another. You're taking a prescribed medicine which allows you the opportunity to get your life in order.

@@lionheart9692 the only places that test for subs are rehabs and methadone-suboxone clinics. it's technically not a opioid like vicodin or percs so won't show up as one. they have to be looking specifically for subs. i am not a doctor just speaking from experience.

I am currently grinding through week 7 completely off Suboxone. The physical w/d only lasted a week or so, still cannot sleep at night. Tapered from 4mg to .5mg over the course of 6 weeks after about 7 years on it. Best choice I've ever made other than the mother of my children. Sleep is overrated

@@TheR0DFATHERif you can get your hands on Clonidine it helps a lot. Never was able to try benzos, I’m sure those would help too but Clonidine really helped the RLS and general tossing and turning. I titrated down pretty quickly because I had to, I was wide awake for a full two weeks, not a micro amount of sleep. Clonidine helped that, I mean it wasn’t perfect but I was able to get a few hours after that

I’m not sure what it would do to someone that’s not addicted to opiates. I’d def call a poison control. I do know it should be taken sublingually for the full effect so prob if swallowed it wouldn’t be as strong. That’s what I’ve heard anyhow.

To be fair and most people will agree with me on this one, most Suboxone doctors don't know what they're talkin about, and the patients actually know more about the medication and drug addiction than the doctors

IT IS NOT OK TO DRINK WHILE ON SUBOXONE ESPECIALLY VODKA. i'm surprised he can handle the effects of alcohol while on suboxone as it usually makes someone sick but then again i don't really know the dose he is on or how much he drinks. it can slow your breathing down to dangerous levels. just as benzodiazepines like xanax ect. it is extremely dangerous and the chances of not waking up is much higher. im not a doctor but there is literature all over the internet about this and im 8 years in recovery on suboxone.

Drinking on Suboxone is not going to do anything different than if he was off Suboxone. It doesn't have any effect on each other really. Unless you're an insane high doses like maybe 16mg, idk I was on 6mg. drinking is bad in general, but no worse for your physical health if your on Suboxone

@@protoolsfanatic7276 there's no way you can die from respiratory depression from Suboxone in any way. There's a ceiling effect. Again I was on the medication for almost eight years so I know exactly what I'm talking about. I've taken benzos with it many times
