@@jaisummons2304 I have wondered that myself. What does ATF do during all that weight. A polic officer and get my drivers license the run a background check in just a few minutes to see if I am wanted for anything. But it takes all those high dollar fed in DC literally months to what appears to be the same thing? Why?

@@mikethompson2650 idk if the number has changed when they hired more staff to approved form 1 SBRs but if i remember right there's only 7 people at the ATF who do suppressor approvals for the entire country

@@FullMetalCaliber so why not treat Form 1 like firearms which ATF says they are and simply use the NICS system and its computerized interface. Easier to get a firearm than it is to get a muffler or to SBR you pistol. I think that would solve many complaints about the ATF.

...or you can just make one and not have to worry about all the BS. They're extremely simple and I have no doubt a GOOD one can be made for a couple bucks, or at-least $30 or less. They sell the "monocore" fuel filters too, which can save a lot of time having to make everything yourself.

@@Tap_rack5.56 For anyone with balls (even if only small one's)... you can get a very inexpensive lathe/milling machine and make your own with no record of any kind and no evidence of any kind. I used to share this same thought but the reason they make them so difficult/long to obtain is to turn people off to getting them entirely; with or without a can you’re strengthening them - I’ll take the can.

Would it be much easier to by an Amazon special and put it together in your garage? Yes, but the purpose of using the suppressor for training and hunting would be eliminated because you aren’t going to take an obviously homemade suppressor to your local range or on your next hunting trip.

Write your government officials, provide financial support to groups who are advocating for our rights and making our voice heard, encourage your peers to do the same, or just march yourself to white house and tell the “master” how you really feel if your balls are so massive and start this “thing” you all want to start so badly. Until then quit degrading your peers in the gun community and encourage them to be proactive. Anyone can say exercise your rights, don’t ask permission, abolish the NFA, or fuck the ATF…but if all anyone does is argue about who is and isn’t right and quit playing the “you’re a coward if you follow a law” card then we’re going to continue more and more to lose our rights until we band together and are unified.

Silencers are regulated under the NFA, the waiting registration and taxes are supposed to discourage the average person from buying things like this
