The history and formation of the Quran doesn't even compare to the history and formation of the Bible. There is no comparison between Muhammad's story and Jesus life. Muslims themselves come from a religious institution that is forced upon them from birth and is maintained through strict rules and severe coercion, with the possibility of death if they ever questioned it. So Islam has only succeeded through war, coercion and fear nothing else. This is still happening in various Islamic states right now.
