I'm a 52 year old who doesn't get excited about much of anything musically these days. But watching some of the videos of Lizzy fronting Skid Row got me all excited. Her voice is perfect. She breathes new life into Skid Row.

You wouldn't deny this woman anything. What a performer she is. A great frontperson for her band, Wails like a banshee, plays a mean riff, nice as can be and there is absolutely nothing fake about her at all - she is the genuine article. I wish her every success because she's earned it. And then you see the performances and she fucking nailed them too. What an artist she is...

I first saw Halestorm in 2012 opening for Shinedown here in Nottingham. I'd just interviewed Shinedown for the magazine I worked for and got to hear Halestorm soundcheck. They were amazing and humble. That night, Lzzy did an acapella section in one song and it was mindblowing. One of my favourite concert moments ever. I got to interview Lzzy later when they did the 3rd Halestorm album and she was just the nicest person possible. Really chilled and easy to talk to. Such a humble person and so talented. She is NAILING IT with Skid Row.

So excited for this. My uncle asked a few months ago if I wanted to do Skid Row at Riverside. Wasn't overly excited and put it on the back burner. Then the announcement came and tickets were bought immediately

Can't wait to see Skid Row with Lizzy TONIGHT at the Hard Rock in Wheatland, CA (Sacramento area). My wife told me that Lizzy was going to sing for them and I just started smiling!!!

Now i have to follow two bands , Halestorm and Skid Row ...everywhere Lzzy sings there is magic !!

I love the thought of this. Lzzy is such a great vocalist and has one of the most beautiful voices in Rock 'N' Roll these days. I first seen Halestorm before they even had a studio album yet. After they opened up for Seether the band literally walked around in the crowd selling burnt CD's. Well at the time I was dating a woman that was an extremely jealous person so she would not let me buy a CD or even go talk to them because Lzzy was sooo beautiful, lol. So long story a little shorter I absolutely love Lzzy but I'm a huge fan of Halestorm too(I've seen them live in concert at least 5 or 6 times) so I don't want anything to happen to them. So I just want to say it's awesome that Lzzy has been announced as the new Skid Row lead singer and I wish her the best of luck in this new chapter in her life but I really hope it doesn't hurt her and/or Halestorm as a band. Knock it out of the park like you always do Lzzy!!!

Beautiful Lizzy Hale will I always remember for her vocals of timeless songs like Bad Girl World, Beautiful with You, Dear Daughter, I am the Fire, Break In and many more beautiful tunes and her amazing vocals, Halestorm a band that sounded like a band from the early 90s last breath of old skool sound. For us true metal heads hair spray bands was never our thing. Rock died in the mid 90s and came back alive in the 2000s. Halestorm was pinnacle. I would have loved more Halestorm stuff, I wish her the best. Keep them horns raised Lizzy.

58 year old musician here, whether you've heard me on recordings or not, doesn't matter. This lady's voice - it's indescribable, it's so way beyond talented that there are no words to describe it. Lizzy is TRULY, without exception, a once in a life time prodigy. And the proof in the pudding would be if she were to somehow branch out further and put out a, I don't know, Harry Connick Jr type of orchestral album that showcased her voice without the shattering pitches and screaming. I just don't know - there is literally NOTHING like her. Hasn't been anything like her in my lifetime. I'm talking Billy Holiday, Janis Joplin, Linda Rondstadt, Anne Wilson, Gretchen Wilson, many hundreds of others - they simply don't compare. Lizzy Hale, hands down, is the most amazing voice of of the last 100 years and there will be NO ONE to compare - lyrically, vocally, dynamically - in any way that you can imagine to this woman. Those of you who are not musicians, who don't understand even the basics of scales, voicings, etc. you will never understand what I'm trying to say in your wildest dreams. There is no voice like Lizzy Hale - period, end of discussion. She's not a once in a generation - she is a once in a millenium voice that if you are priviledged enough to experience in your lifetime, then your life has been blessed and you have had a spiritual experience in a realm that you previously were unaware existed. There are no further words to elucidate this woman's talent - simply seek it out, and experience it in every form or manner of experience that presents to you. Your life, your very soul will be forever changed by it. Listen, please - at every available opportunity you have to take it in - search for it, seek it out - you will leave this world a much more fulfilled person because you did so.

I love Skid Row. One of my favourite childhood bands. Still listen often to this day. In saying that I have Never followed SR since Sebastian's departure. Sebastian is SR. Only now since hearing of Lzzy filling in will I watch everything they do with her. Love Lzzy also and with what I've seen she is killing it. But Sebastian is Skid Row and once she has had her time with them there will be no Row for me till you have the real deal. Sebastian Bach is Skid Row and always will be. Anything less just a tribute band.

Halestorm is not my cup,of tea, but I say that respectfully, because this woman deserves all the success they have gotten. I’ll never forget in the early 00’s seeing them open up for what was, at the time, the most popular regional band going in Central Pennsylvania. Their father was playing bass, and mom was walking around the club with a battery powered spotlight shining it on her/them…..essentially taking the light show in the club that might over for the opening band. I remember being in that club that night thinking how cool it was seeing this entire family come together for these kids (at the time). This entire family went for broke in the music business and they did it. I remember stories as well how in those early days, which coincided with the early days of social media, how she was extremely active in responding to fans posts and emails personally, basically winning fans over one person at a time not only with musical talent, but personality as well.

A bunch of us former military guys did security at the water front concert years ago in Buffalo NY. The event ended with a wild rain storm. While waiting under a pop up tent to get paid, this voice came outta nowhere asking us questions about the city and fun things to do. It was Lindsey. So cool, everyday person. She stuck around and chatted for a bit before heading to the bus. Very cool.
