Madeira’s mountains rise up nearly 2,000 meters into the sky. They're not only beautiful to look at, but they also secure the life of the island. Without water from the mountains, the inhabitants of Madeira would be high and dry. The struggle to find water has always made the island’s inhabitants inventive. Nowadays with a million tourists visiting the island every year, the beauty of the place is under threat. Madeira’s inventive talent is needed once again, will there be enough drinking water for everyone in the future?

@hellyou; there would never have been a problem, if it wasn’t for satanistic evil greedy men who want power, and money, and to lord it over innocent victims. Economics at it’s worst.

Really excellent video and info and this is from 2015. I wonder where things are at now almost a decade later. Bravo to the engineers and the industriousness of the Madeiran people. So impressive!

the word "honesty" has its own interpretation p.s.most tourists take electricity and drinking too much water for granted

At the 3:54 mark to the 4:00 mark is the problem of “half truths”, the same as in Churches and Governments and Media. Yes, water is condensed from clouds, but also the underground springs

Oops. Spoke too soon again. It appears so-called water power stations are hogging the water.

Oops Oops, >> At 43:00 mark, there so-called underground reservoir, is an underground dam on the natural underground springs, PRECISELY “My” meaning of their half truths!

At the 46:33 mark, is the natural underground spring waterway that was dammed up further inside the mountain. Where water is low when the “drove” through it, use to be millions of gallons of water running so fast through it! “I” bet those people on Madeira were “never” asked in a vote, if they wanted so-called “hydro-power” plant.
