My sister’s boss is loaded and owns and operates a few hotels around KL amongst other things. During MCO he opened up one of his hotels next to a major hospital for frontline workers to stay in for free, also fed them for free. He let NGOs use his 4-star hotel kitchen to prepare food for the homeless and vulnerable, taking care of the costs and offering his employees to help out. Malaysia may still be a relatively unequal society but even people at the top, the millionaires, billionaires have a sense of civic duty and humanity. This in itself is remarkable if you compare to countries like the US where the rich really don’t give a shit and will evict small businesses in times of crises for things like not making rent.

I'm student from West Malaysia studying in East Malaysia. They sent us food to our homes . And eventually the government paid for our flight tickets and sent us home. The took care of everything, from leaving the university till we reach our homes. After months being away from home, stranded due to covid-19. I'm finally home with my family. ❤️

I'm one of those who need to stay at the university since the start of MCO until we were allowed to be sent back home. My university gave RM100 allowance, the government gave RM200, got internet allowance RM120 for online distance learning, provided with food for free, stayed in the hostel for free and was sent back home by the university. Yes, the university sent us back home! (We were dropped at the city's police station). Really appreciated what I've got and will continue to appreciate what my country have done.

Malaysia is the best because we have Prime Minister that think like a Father to a Big Family. We call him ABAH! Shout out to our PM Muhiyuddin Yassin. PakLong Mail (1st child) is our minister of security PakNgah(2nd child) is Our The Inspector General of Police ( Ketua Polis Negara) Pak Lang (3rd Child) - Dr Noor Hisham Pakchu Zafrul (Youngest & the love one ) He gives money hahahaha Siapa setuju kita mempunyai menteri yg mcm family like this. 👍 Thank you frontliners Doctors nurses police army Essential workers Abg2 kakak2 riders poslaju dan seangkatan Volunteer Pembuat PPE sedekah makan minum utk semua yg nemerlukan. Couldnt say more just THANK YOU. Tahun 2020 tahun kita memerlukan satu sama lain dan tahun kita buat PAHALA. Amin.

Yes the video is accurate. I'd like to add, our beloved King donated 6 months of his allowance to the government during this pandemic crisis. And the ministers that formed our new government also did the same thing. They donated 2 months of their salary to the government. And we receive 1GB internet data for free every single day all through the MCO. 😊😊😊

Just went back to Malaysia from Indonesia because i studied there... And i can't belive in my whole life i could be able to stay in Hotel for free.. 😭... I meant i never experienced stay in hotel before, just dormitory... And the food is nice too ...

Hi, FYI, I'm one of a foreign worker that live in Malaysia for years..and what shows in the video is true, specifically in large state like Kuala Lumpur..well, I live somewhere not far, I mean around an hour from there but in another state, our employer still provide us with jobs and foods even asking for helping them for helping others who's not so, well, poorly people and provide them with daily basis necessities...well...I like living here just because theirs is 'rich' in time like this..you know what I mean..so yeah, bye

I live and work in Desaru,Bandar Penawar When the virus hits Malaysia...we as the the hoteliers were devastated...at first half of us were required to volunteer for unpaid leave 😢😢😢 and we cried...but then,our GM fought our rights that none should be under unpaid leave...we would still be getting our salary with the certain amount of deduction (as we only work 5 days a week) Our GM is a very warm hearted person despite of not being a local He came to our staff quarters to meet all his staff... providing us with food every alternate days...and gives us motivation everytime he sees us.

No.9 The statement “Banks give loans for 6 months” is a bit confusing. What happens is, the banks allowed a 6-month grace period on loan repayments. Which means borrowers can defer the repayments of their exisiting loans for 6 months without incurring any additional charges.

I’m Malaysian. I’m so proud Malaysian. Even though my husband forced to leave Malaysia due his working visa had been expired in March. I always think positive that everything will be alright and even started my youtube channel so that I won’t be so lonely when my husband is not around. I even really thankful during this moment I try many things that I had never tried before. I cooked new recipe, I started to bake (my first experience ever), I filming and making video/content for my youtube channel which I really wanted to do before. The facts that I’m far from my husband make us realise that we love and need each other it’s make us appreciate each other more and promise that after this situation over when he can come back to Malaysia we will always together. May all couple out there which also in same situation with me can take this moment to appreciate our partner more. Also I like the feeling when I baked and cooked something I shared it with people surround me, when they said it nice it make me more happy and motivated me to bake and cook more 🤣 Also I really Thank God for giving me this opportunity and protect my family and my country during this very serious situation over the world. I still have my job and i pay taxes, why i would give those government my money who dont have a job especially rich people who contribute more money to the taxes well that is the a good arguments. well we Malaysia we put this way. 1. Governments hospital charge only warded for the 3rd class as low as RM 3 per day, and as high as rm 255 per day for vip class. 2. government clinic for citizens charge as low as RM 1 up to RM 30 include consultation and medicine. eventhough the services is not as tip top as Private Hospital but the Hospital is good enough to safe your money. Then the because of the MCO people who only depends on daily wages cannot go to work not because they lazy helping them is like helping our own as to keep them save at home. Much more benefits if we overcome the needy because that makes the country alive when we distribute the wealth equally the poor later will also help rich to get more rich when they be able to provide jobs for them later they(poor) be able to pay taxes. It a chain of life ..

We r only treating some cluster come from construction site workers as they didn't practice social distance as we all can understand why. Majority of them are foreigners labour, they afraid to go to authority as some doesn't has legal documents for living in Malaysia. This is the last stage of the MCO.
