My grandmother, who would have been 100 yrs old on Jan. 23, 2023, taught me that if you gift someone a wallet or purse, you are to put some money in it. I am pretty sure that the dollar you found in the tattoo art wallet must have been a gift. That wallet is cool!

That San Francisco jacket/vest is reversible! It used to be a "thing" that when you gave a wallet as a gift you would put a new dollar bill in it for good luck. If it had a coin purse, you just put a new penny in that.

When we had to clean out my grandmothers house after she passed, she had money tucked in so many places between newspaper, pages in brown paper bags that was folded up, but the most interesting thing was everywhere she tucked it looked like trash, so we had to literally go through and open everything and not assume it went in the trash!!! There were a lot of valuables in game boxes under everything!

I've been watching the train locker episodes. I don't know if you realized that some of fire stuff is connected to the movie or tv show. for instance backdraft is all connected. there was a building that is the firehouse from the movie. there were some firetrucks that were marked emergency which were the vehicles from the old tv show. I'm sure there are other connections so keep your eyes open for them. cool stuff. thanks for the amusements.

Jack, I hope you and Janna are okay. Weather has been a little crazy here in Cali. heading into mid January. I had that white Disney book back in the 70's. Someone stole it. Check the date in that and see how old it is. I not sure on the timeline between vintage and antique. I think I may be antique lol.

You should put an awning on the side of your trailer. That way you could put it down and work underneath it on the hot days at lockers. And then you can put it down when you're at the flea market to work underneath as well

Jack, there are junk journal makers out there who would love all of that paperwork travel books brochures, etc. Its called Ephemera. People will buy a bag of it for $10-20. Worth considering at the markets.

Those things that they sell at Hallmark only come out that year and doesn’t come back out again unless they do an anniversary so for people who collect them they would potentially pay more than the ticket price because they know they can’t get it anywhere else unless for some reason they find a seller online

You got to love anyting nightmare before Christmas and the haunted mansion because they are some of the most expensive Disney and collectibles out of all of Disney I hope you might find a hundred-dollar item are thousand-dollar of try items or Disney pins with his quality is stuff it's hard to say what's in the rest of the unit what the family got

I believe there was a dollar in that wallet because there is an auspicious superstition that when you buy a wallet or receive a gifted wallet, that it should start with its usage life by receiving money. Maybe a vendor had this superstition and put a dollar in the wallet during the exchange, or it was a gifted by someone that put a dollar in there.
