Patreon is a great idea. I've no doubt ad revenue is down for you guys from the website as it's down EVERYWHERE and it's a much better option than paywalling the MTG content. Props to you guys for the great approach.

I like the all access aspect of the event. The basically no bans part honestly reminds me of why there were bans in the first place. However, it is a good data collection exercise for the Arena team. Some cards seem OK to be unbanned.

For unsactioned events we have a "horizonless" modern at our LGS and it's kinda saddening how good it is, if you would just cut the sets that were designed for it.

So here's the compromise I would accept for resetting the ban list for Historic. Y'all can have that if we can have Historic Artisan as a permanent queue. That way, at least somewhere exists for lower powered games.

My atraxa deck loses to blood moon in most scenarios. It has zero basic lands.

Against the odds, enigma jewel, mostly because there are not that many “good” activated abilities yea there are combos with activated abilities via Soul Cauldron but playing it pseudo fair and just doubling up activated abilities is very against the odds style

Talking about the perfect length of a podcast: your podcast is, for me at least, to long. I agree with Seth, more around the half hour mark would be better. But it is of course personal preference.

If they make this a regular event lets also agree that we can't moan about WotC trying to squeeze every penny out of the player base; when they do something fun, free, and accessible to everyone on the platform a subset of players demand that it be paywalled off

There is no such thing as reprints I have “lost” 1000s by stuff being reprinted but compared to the cost of players not being able to play with cards is much higher
