Excellent challenge! I'm reminded of an exchange that I once had when I previously had a fakebook account. Someone came onto a post and stated that the KJV translation was in error in the verses that were cited, as well as it not being the "best" translation in any case. I rebutted his claims, noting that the KJV had no errors in it, challenging him to prove those errors that he claimed. Rather than doing so, he suggested that anyone who wanted to could go to any number of websites to see lists of all the "errors" in the KJV, refusing to engage in any meaningful discussion. Isn't just like Satan to try to draw people away from those who can intelligently defend the verity of God's word, taking them into dens of liars and thieves who would pluck God's word out from the hands and hearts of believers? And to think that I used to be such an one, but by his grace, God brought me back to his word in the AV/KJV!

In my sincere opinion, I think there are better options for some words, but that is only because I am influenced by the language of today. (E.g., perhaps instead of peradventure.) However, I find no errors in the KJV, and I believe it is the best word-for-word translation.

No errors, but perhaps gaps in our understanding. Reading (John 17:17), studying (2 Timothy 2:15), and consulting the Holy Spirit (1 John 2:27) will clear up supposed discrepancies. Most of the modern translations are missing these verses, which is a huge ERROR: Matthew 17:21, 18:11, 23:14; Mark 7:16, 9:44, 9:46, 11:26, 15:18; Luke 17:36, 23:17; John 5:4; Acts 8:37, 15:34, 24:7, 28:29; Romans 16:24.

The King James Bible has many errors in translation, that is true, however, it is still the best translation version available for reading and study. James Strong Exhaustive Concordance has been written to The King James Bible for the purpose of checking the translation of every word in it. Every well informed student of the Bible should use it.

Yea, hath GOD said? Questioning the KJV is the same old Satan shatick! The KJV is the supernatural divinely inspired word of GOD directly from GOD. Even punctuation “every jot and tittle” . Any other textual source is nothing more than a Roman Catholic rendering. Questioning the KJV cause me to “evacuate the building real quick”. I don’t even waste my time or evaluate my BpP with this type nonsense

You can drive yourself crazy pastor, or you can read the translation you have with the Holy Spirit as your guide to the truth in the words. God will not deceive you and this is His inerrant inspired book He produced for our roadmap to heaven.

I have a doubt if kjv is accurate translation and true as many KJV only says then why does it has apocrypha which are not inspired by the Holy Spirit

I only know of one "error", 2 thes 2.2, the day of Christ.. should be..the day of the Lord .. because the context is about the tribulation wrath to come.

No errors whatsoever. The King James Bible is 100% free from error, because it is the perfect and inspired word of God in the English language.

God appeared unto Abraham, Issac, and Jacob by the name of "God Almighty". _GOD_ did not appear unto them by the name name of JEHOVAH, not even once. He himself did not make himself known to them by that name. Notice that the verse does NOT say that the patriarchs didn't know the name "JEHOVAH" at all, the verse is saying that _GOD_ didn't come to them as "JEHOVAH". They didn't know that "JEHOVAH" was an actual name of God. When you read Genesis 35:11, God does not say to Jacob "I am JEHOVAH"; he says "I am God Almighty" instead. _ABRAHAM_ simply named a mountain "Jehovah-jireh" in Genesis 22:14, which simply means _"The LORD will provide"._ But _GOD_ didn't once come to Abraham and say to him "My name is JEHOVAH". It could also be understood that God did not establish his covenant with Abraham in Genesis 17:1 as "JEHOVAH", as he did with Moses in Exodus 6:3, but instead as "Almighty God" (Gen. 17:1). And finally (as other people have said before), it can also be understood that the patriarchs didn't know him as "JEHOVAH", as in, a God performing that which he promised to them (Rom. 4:21), for the patriarchs only saw the promises afar off and never actually received them (Heb. 11:13).

The KJV is ONLY a very old, and outdated TRANSLATION of the then extant and easily available Scripture. It was OK for its day, but is well past its prime, since we no longer speak in that way. Use a good translation into the language that you currently speak.

“Outdated” really? How so” I’ve done a verse by verse comparison in-depth study. Takes a lot of time. I suggest you do similar. Are you a Roman Catholic?

⁠@@hp7093Agreed, even myself that im mexican and my english is a second language i read my Kjv and compare verse by verse with other english translations as well with spanish ones……..indeed the Kjv has something more powerful than any other.

The KJV is as outdated as photography. Many of those that transkate the Bible into other languages use the KJV. I still prefer the KJV.

KJV is the Word of God. Now books were removed in 1880 by the vatican and im sure that they have done much more. The new translations are useless any person that can read can understand the KJV. If they dont understand a word our the .ea ing of a verse their are planty of places to find the meaning. The Ethiopian bible is the one bible that still has 88 bòoks and will never change that and it is the oldest transalted book. And Ethiopia was in the bible as a land and a ethical group of followers of Christ and his teaching.
