Dark Sonic/Dark Super Sonic needs to come back. Also, in case you didn't catch this, Nazo is basically Cell (wants to collect something to obtain his true form) and Syn/Omega Shenron (made from the negativity of the -Dragon Balls- Chaos Emeralds, gets more power by absorbing them, and wants to fill the world with negative energy). And with being said, Hyper Shadic is likely meant to be the SSJ4 Gogeta of Nazo Unleashed. Also, Nazo specifically wants to destroy the whole planet to shatter the Master Emerald into hundreds/thousands of pieces scattered across the galaxy/universe to prevent it from being fixed as opposed to being shattered into about 15 pieces across a city. That's pretty much the only reason Knuckles was able to restore it in SA1 and 2: not many pieces, and they weren't too far apart. And yes, they did use Chaos Control to fuse together since Chaos Control does have space manipulation abilities, and there is precedent for this since 2 Chaos Emeralds turns time slow/time stop into time travel, so turning teleporting by manipulating space into fusing using 7 Emeralds Please refrain from mentioning blowing 3-0 leads. You just brought back some bad memories of Strikers Charged where I lost a match off of a 3-0 lead because my Wiimote or sensor just decided to start acting up, making me mess up on blocking Petey's Mega Strike, tying the game at 3-3 with him winning in Sudden Death.

Not sure if it has been said, but Nazo explains that perfectly. It's not just to shatter the emerald, Knuckles would still be alive to get the pieces, if the world gets destroyed, the Master Emerald will shatter and the pieces will scatter across the galaxy, and with no Knuckles around to gather the pieces, it can't be put back together, that's why he wants to destroy the Earth

The part when Nazo want to blow up the planet to destroyed the Master Emerald, is because it makes putting it together impossible. Besides, can you actually find thosands of M.E. pieces that were scattered across space? He'll make absolutely sure that it'll never be put together again

Knuckles only broke the Master Emerald into a few pieces (like 20 or so at most) which could easily be found and repaired in a respectable amount of time. Nazo wanted to shatter it into THOUSANDS and with Earth destroyed they'd spread across the entire galaxy. Pieces the size of pebbles scattered across an entire galaxy? That would make it practically impossible to restore.

Close to the end of the video here so I'd like to clear up a few things. Tails didn't have the speed to avoid Nazo's attack and the deal with knuckles shattering the master emerald, he already has an innate connection to it, so it would make sense that he could disperse it into multiple shards to protect its power from falling into the wrong hands and reform it when available. Also, there's a little teaser clip for what ended up becoming Wrath of Nazo

I think the difference between Nazo’s plan to shatter the master emerald and knuckles being able to break it is that: Nazo plans to shatter it into so many smaller than microscopic shards, that it would be next to impossible to fully restore it Knuckles however just shatters it into around 20-30 shards

Shadow and sonic used super at the same time,so its possible for nazo and sonic to do the same. Also,I believe its harder to use the emeralds at the same time if your using the same energy,and since sonic was using positive and Nazo used negative,it was probably easier

The reason Nazo needed to destroy the world is to not just shatter the Master Emerald(into many more pieces than normal) but also to kill the only known sensors of the pieces and to scatter the pieces too far apart to be collected again.

i know this is old but, because you were talking about infinite when nazo gave the explanation, he wanted to destroy the master emerald along with the planet so all the master emerald shards travel across the universe, making it imposible to restore, so in return, he can be the most powerfull being across the universe
