Thank you so much for this. I'm currently learning Java (career switch from mechanical engineer) and the thing that scares me the most about this field is precisely what you said: that idea of having to learn all the time, everytime, in your free time etc because otherwise you become irelevant. And I was alway thinking who tf wants to do that? Life is about other things too, not just coding like a robot 24/7.
