I actually finally bought an Upheaval not too long ago just to own one. Even after cracking all those Odyssey packs back in the day I never managed to pull one out of sheer luck. I stick it in one of my commander decks if I’m playing casual, otherwise it’s safely in a sleeve and remains one of my very favorite cards even after all these years.

High praise for sentinel of nameless city, I just picked one up for a highlander artifact deck - splashable 3/4 body for 3 that blocks, and poops out artifacts that can break board stalls...AND has two relevant creature types!

9:13 I was thinking Zirda might be an interesting pick here because most the permanents in his pool had an activated ability. Colors weren't right, but it was still midway into pack 2, so I think there was time to pick up white or red fixing.

Interesting idea but i think it’s hard with workshop having such high upside. and a lot of the cards zirda is best with (like untapping monolith) workshop is also good with, and it also lets you turbo out other things. that being said its definitely an interesting path and i think zirda is a bit undervalued generally

6:19 TIL Kinnan doesn't combo with Urza. Even though Urza taps an artifact for mana, Kinnan requires the tap symbol.

Filter Lands instead of those slow lands? To enable TKS. Random cards that might be worth trying: Fiery Temper, Eye of Ugin

Is it just me or does it feel like every time LSV drafts the crazy like lotus timewalk mox absolutely perfect archetypical deck he goes 1-2 but every time he drafts a pile that makes you think “this may be the worst draft spot ever” or “how does this win a single game?” he goes 2-1 or even 3-0

I like TKS, but given that it's only medium powerlevel you'd want to splash it only when it's free. I don't think the mana supports it even with Talismans. Would you consider filter lands over fast lands? They also help with casting certain BBB cards and you could include Archmage's Charm.

@LSV 3:22 I keep hoping to see you combo Kinnan and Urza so that Urza makes artifacts tap for UU...at least I think that's how it should work. EDIT: the more I think about it the less I'm sure that's how it would work....now I want LSV to try it for science in addition to it being awesome if it works. EDIT2: 6:24 Oh...LSV says it doesn't work XD

Cheon has started posting draft videos. I think LSV said in the past that Jenara does also, but I haven’t seen Jenara in these team drafts much recently.

I seem to remember he didn't like the card/loved the card, because of its annoying function. This was years ago but he didn't think it belonged. Magic and Cube has changed a lot, maybe he feels different.

MTG is a game and like D&D, the demons and dragons etc are all in the Bible. Too many people think that Christians can't play games and have fun. The sad thing is the people who play MTG and stuff who are unbelievers that think it's somehow not for people who believe. I have been Discriminated against by many in the gaming community for being a Christian as if gaming itself belongs to those going to hell. There is so much ignorance in the world of fantasy. Being a disciple and crushing people at games or logic and skill is fun because so many don't get that believers are people who just chose the right path. ;) God bless the gamers who aren't rude and foul and aren't using a game to hide from God.
