It's cool when you go to the airship level there's this little animation where your character claims in those large stems to get to the airship

I got this game i think 3 or 4 years ago, I was blasting through the levels until I got to hard mode airship level. I probably tried it for I think anywhere between 5-10 hours then I rage ouitted. I think I tried it maybe 2 years later and for another 2 or 3 hours I was stuck on it and stopped playing it again and if I'mnot mistaken, I had a lead with 10 seconds left but the game crashed on me so I didn't win. Just yesterday I picked the game up and I was in this situation probably 2 to 3 hours in (this is just off of my memory so I don't know every exact thing.) Me: 264 points My opponents: 246 points 17:24 seconds left I had just scored so they had the ball, I groundpounded and got the ball back. Then with probably less then 4 seconds left they hit me and I lost the ball right by my side all the way on the bottom right of the course, the white mage was on her way to the basket and there was nothing I could do besides pray that time would save me. She did the jump to be by the rim, the clock was at probably .75 seconds left. The ball went down and into the basket. But right before she got it in there and I'm talking like a FRAME BEFORE SHE GOT IT IN! The clock said time and I looked at the score and it showed that I won. I couldn't scream out loud so i was screaming so quietly like it sounded like wind passing by. I finally got the trophy. Now I'm trying to 100 percent the game.

That game is a hidden gem. I didn't have friends that I could really play it with so I had to play with AI, which was one of the easiest things ever. But I would have loved to play with other people.

This is one of my favourite DS games! The mechanics are so rewarding and fun, and it controls like a dream. My trio was always Ninja, Cactaur, and Yoshi. So glad it's finally getting some recognition!

I remember my dad bought me this game for my birthday. I poured hours upon hours into it. Mostly because I specifically remember him taking me to the store, walking down the isle and pausing for me to choose which game I wanted. I LOVED THIS GAME!!! Always reminded me of him while playing. And even now, many many years later, it still reminds me of him ☺️❤️

Mario Hoops 3-on-3 is my childhood game. I love how smooth the game works, and a wide variety of characters. I always picked Yoshi, Birdo and Paratroopa. The nostalgia when I play multiplayer with my sister, we had a lot of shenanigans there.

I remember this, I saw the commercial for this game, it was during a time I was already a fan of Super Mario, and I was becoming a fan of the NBA, I got my taste of Mario and Basketball in NBA Street V3 for Gamecube and when I saw an ad for Mario Hoops on TV, I was immediately SOLD! Best birthday gift ever. Too bad not many people know about this, it’s a really good arcade like Basketball that makes NBA JAM blink, and that is a known arcade b ball game.
