I live in Pinal County and can confirm we have an awesome Sheriff's Department.

I just voted for him for Congress. He has done a great job as Sheriff.

I love our law enforcement agencies in Pinal County. I feel safe. Sheriff Lamb has worked hard to protect the community, as well as all our police officers and law enforcement agencies.

EVERY small or big town/city needs a Sheriff like this. Straight to the point and NO B.S!

I served a small community as their chief of police from 1991 to 2011. We employed 14 officers to provide 24-hour service and protection to the community. The city council and mayor and the community in general wanted strict law enforcement and immediate response to a myriad of problems both criminal and civil along with mental health issues. From the very beginning, I realized practically everyone wanted the community problems to go away but they do not want to see how we had to do our job. It’s a classical catch 22 situation. The best day for me in working that job was the day I retired.

I was Blessed to meet this Man at a LIVEPD meet and greet in Springfield Missouri. We have continued to follow him and his career. I can’t imagine how him and his Wife have hurt since losing their son and granddaughter. To this day his family has been in my Prayers. AMERICA NEEDS MORE OFFICERS LIKE HIM!!!

I met Sheriff Lamb when he gave a speech at a dinner in Northern California. He’s the real deal he and his wife were very nice.

All I ever did behind a badge was struggle with Lieutenants and Captains who had worn a uniform like a suit and ridden a desk for twenty years on a cushy 9-5 Monday through Friday. You want the trust of your men? Promote from within, always, and only give your Sergeants the power or oversight, not command. You can fire everyone else.

America needs more men and women with Sheriff Lamb’s morals now more than ever! God bless him!

He is 100% spot on in what he said and how he works! I retired from a PD in CT. after 25-1/2 years. If our department had 1/4 of the support from our town, our politicians as a whole, and the community, we could have done so very much. But CT. is highly left leaning and woke, whereas most of the LEOs are conservative right or close to it. When the left started grandstanding about race issues in the U.S. and trying to separate our citizens into groups based on color, creed, religion, ethnicity, or gender identification, our town jumped right in. All it did was to point out the differences in people, instead of recognizing and celebrating those differences, and seeing how our many commonalities that we share make our country stronger. Law enforcement in my community took a hit that they still have not recovered from. Sherif Lamb and people like him are true patriots and we need more of them to stand for what is right. And we need the silent citizens of our great country to step up and to become vocal in supporting our law enforcement, our public safety, and our military. That is more important than most people realize. Stay Safe Folks!!!

I am a retired deputy sheriff and live in Pinal. I worked for a large department in Michigan. I seriously hope Lamb is really like this because I've never met him. I worked under 3 different sheriffs and they were completely different people when there was no camera. None of the sheriffs I worked under would back you. I got sick of the "guilty until proven innocent" mentality the brass had towards the staff. It made me lazy. The less you did, the fewer things could go wrong. I really hope Lamb is actually like this off camera BC I voted for him.

I was a cop for 30 yrs, retiring at the rank of captain/commander of our patrol division, in ‘97 b/c I saw how the country was changing. I completely agree w/this guy, would like to work for him, but I’m too old now.

Sheriff Lamb needs to teach Utah's Compromised Sheriffs Departments. Utah's 29 counties, we have 6 Constitutional Sheriffs. I have had discussions with Sheriff Joe about this as well. SL County has no Sheriffs Dept. They were disbanded and are used as Corrections and Admin only currently. UTAH IS A CAPTURED STATE, we need all eyes on here and we need the HEAT !

I have followed this department since live PD days. Refreshingly transparent, no BS and not perfect in front of a camera Just real people doing a real job, with leadership by example not just policies on paper!

Sadly, many departments are headed toward a "Show up later, arrest the winners, and bury the losers" model. Whatever happened to "proactive policing?"

More sheriff's in this country should look at the way Sheriff Lamb does things. So many of these sheriff's have been in office for long periods of time and live in the past. Get rid of the old guys and get with the program. Sheriff Lamb is a prime example of how a real sheriff operates. I would have loved to work for him.

From criminals to law enforcement everyone needs to be held accountable for their actions.

The problem with law enforcement is a very complicated one. Training methods are obsolete in a time when auditors' videos swarm the internet and many citizens are more assertive in upholding their rights. Another major problem are corrupt local governments and this is where guys like Mark Lamb make a huge difference. Police have to have only one goal in doing their duty: to uphold the LAW. That's it nothing else, not to 'protect' the citizens (best protection at all times is your 2nd amendment, not the cops like the ones in Uvalde), not to fill up the local government coffers with bogus traffic citations, none of all that: just uphold the law i.e. The Constitution of United States of America. Police will have all the back up in the world if they do that.

It is interesting the way talks, he does a lot of good for his county from everything you see that comes out about it. Putting aside the political side of things all he wants to do is make his community stronger, safer and known. I do think body cams for law enforcement is a must not just the public’s safety but most importantly the officers safety and stops any arguments about what an officer did/didn’t do, if they are attacked or anything like that.

The Sheriff has the power. He is the top law enforcement officer in the county.

The sheriff before him, ran for senate on a strong border security platform. He couldn't keep his illegal immigrant boyfriend happy & the boy toy complained! So this scandle made that former sheriff drop out of the race & created a void! So that's the enviorment in Pinal county before he ran!

Lieutenants... I remember Tour of duty 90's tv show. The lieutenant was often the problem. Fresh from University, lack of field experience, made the sergeants and field soldiers lifes more difficult than already are.

I lived in Pinal County till 2009. I moved to Apache Junction after i married my Wife. Big mistake. That City as for the Police was so corrupt. When i left i had both middle fingers in the air and moved to where i am now. Mark Lamb was best thing to happen to that corrupt County and area

She said she actually got to meet him a few months ago and they all voted for him in his run for Sheriff. If I lived there I'd be voting for him too! Interesting story...just remember that public photography is not a crime. Citizens have a right to film anything in public. 1st Amendment Rights as confirmed by the Supreme Court.

The rule of law is a double edge sword, there needs to be enforcement of law , yet immature officers that are in it for ego and authority dominance use the rule of law to abuse power and the constitutional rights of the people Retìred public safety responder 30 yrs. This is why i appreciate the local town i live near , hasbwc with a policy you don't turn off or mute bwc I also a college graduate, which i believe helped my career and made me better I believe that any person involved in public safety should be required to have minimum of 2 year degree
